Welcome to The Islander 302 on beautiful Holiday Isle in Destin. This comfortable 2BR/2BA condo is just steps away from the beach and sleeps up to 7 guests comfortably. The master bedroom boasts a king bed and en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom offers a queen bed and twin bed. To complete the sleeping arrangements, enjoy a sleeper sofa in the living room. Sip on your morning cup of coffee on the spacious balcony before the kids wake up, and take in the amazing sunrises the area has to offer. Come see why The Islander 302 will take your breath away.

The Islander condominium is located on Holiday Isle, which is a peninsula surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor. This destination is sure to please. The Islander features two pools, two hot tubs, lighted tennis courts, two elevators, shuffleboard, covered grill gazebo, onsite fitness center, and private beach. This complex also features a wheelchair accessible beach ramp plus a chair lift into the pool. Make your next beach memory at The Islander.

Area Attractions: 

An easy walk along the beach will take you to the jetties, where the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor meet, a spot well-known for great snorkeling and fishing. Here you can also watch boats going out deep sea fishing and returning from gulf to harbor. 

The Islander is perfectly located next to Destin Harbor, where you have access to and can enjoy a sunset dolphin cruise, snorkeling, parasailing, wave runner and paddle-board rentals.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

Perfect location. The Islander is such a wonderful place to stay with your family. The unit itself was very clean and worked fine for the family but it’s is outdated and the furnishing’s have seen better days.

Islander 302

Great stay. Room was clean and exactly as in the photos. We used the gym, pickle ball and shuffleboard facilities and they were very nice. The only possible negative thing I can think of is that one of the burners on the stove was out and the clocks didn’t work, but who cares what time it is on vacation anyway! I would definitely stay there again.

Overall the property was nice. The second bedroom TV did not work nor did the top electrical outlets on either side of the bed in the master bedroom. Additionally, there were several spots where the carpet met other types of flooring where tacks were exposed. Property was very secure and conveniently located to the pool and beach.

Basic but nice condo

Overall a nice condo. Condo had pretty basic needs in the kitchen. Could not get the ice maker in the freezer to work for us. The TV in the master bedroom we could not get to work. We could not do the towel exchange on the second exchange day with the condo complex as they told us we it was not allowed since we booked through VRBO. The water pressure in the showers was not great. This condo complex does not give you two free wooden beach chairs and umbrella everyday like Others we have stayed at next to this complex. They said this was one of the top of the line rentals at this complex but I would not call it that. Next time we come to Destin to visit we will probably look at other complexes to rent at.

Destin House Hunting

Needed a base to house hunt in the Destin area. Pluses - Beautiful view. Appears to be safe area for walking. Property gated/sufficient parking. Carts available to assist in moving luggage/groceries in/out of unit. Pool clean/fair daily rate. Minuses - Post arrival we learned that properties range in grades from bronze, thru silver/gold, to platinum. This unit was graded as Silver. We reported torn furniture, broken shudders in MBR, wall clocks not working and floors very dirty. Management partially responsive to our notifications. Clocks never corrected during our stay, but we were compensated for floors via a refund of a portion of the cleaning fee. Would personally not stay again in any room below a Gold rating.

This property was listed just as it was in person. No surprises upon arrival. It was clean, had amazing views, perfect location in Destin. The heated pool was amazing, the views were great, very quiet at night, family oriented, overall a great place to stay!

The condo unit was convenient to the beach. We felt safe due to the security gates. The master bathroom vanity is rotting due to a water damage. The carpet at the dining entrance and master bath entrance is worn. Carpet strips is visible and dangerous. Our children and elderly lady punctured their feet several time due to exposed nail on carpet strips.

Great location! Returning Holiday Isle visitor, first time Islander stay. The only complaint I have is our keys were not ready to use/activated after pickup at off-site office location. However, as soon as I called customer service they said to take keys to reception to get activated. Overall great stay. Great gulf view. Clean. Would recommend

Beautiful Views

This property was easy to rent and the communication was great. The views of the beach were amazing! It is a quick walk across a wooden boardwalk and you’re right on the beach. The condo is older, but has everything we needed and was very clean. It was private and all access used the key, so the beach wasn’t over crowded. We’ll definitely rent here again. RealJoy vacation rentals was the property management group for our condo.
