Gorgeous home in Idre with kitchen

Enjoy a cosy holiday in a rustic wooden cabin nestled between tranquil woodlands and the mountains.

Make yourself comfortable in this inviting holiday home and experience the atmosphere of a traditional Swedish cabin, with plenty of wood and rustic charm. After an active day, relax on the sofas and let the crackling fire in the wood-burning stove warm you up. Gather round the round dining table for meals together or plan your next excursions here. Prepare your breakfast or a hearty dinner in the compact, functional kitchen. A ladder leads up to the loft, emphasising the typical cabin character.

Step out onto the small covered veranda and breathe in the crisp forest air. The dark timber house is nestled amongst tall pines and birches in an unspoilt, rocky landscape. Enjoy the peace and quiet here and set off directly from the house on walks through the woods.

In winter, make the most of the excellent opportunities for downhill and cross-country skiing around Idre. Spend a day skiing in Idre Fjäll and then return to your cosy cottage. During the snow-free season, explore the mountains on foot and try your luck at fishing in the excellent spots in the surrounding area. Take a trip to Fulufjället National Park and hike to Njupeskär, one of Sweden’s highest waterfalls. Keep an eye out for reindeer along the way and enjoy the vast landscapes of this unspoilt mountain region.
