Great place!

We stayed in the “tiny house” on the property and it was exactly like the pics. Clean, well-stocked with necessities, and all the comforts. Plus a nice deck with a beautiful view. The resort is laid back and peaceful. Not fancy but very well-kept! Reminded me of being at summer camp with the cabins and lake 😊. We rented kayaks and a pontoon boat, which was super easy. Thanks for the great week, Dennis! (and everyone else…)

Tony Home

The area is beautiful and mostly quiet. The staff at the resort were all nice. Beautiful view of the lake from a nice sized deck. There are no steps but a ramp, which was nice as well. The cons: The place was clean-ish. The ceiling fan was so full of dust and cobwebs, we couldn’t turn it on to circulate the A/C. There were cobwebs in some corners of the entire place. We had to wash the supplied utensils before we used them as there was grease and crusted food on them 👎🏼👎🏼 The bathroom is nice but the toilet seat was broken. So we had to be careful when we sat that it didn’t shift!! We had to take the TP off the holder as it was so far behind the seat, it was a pain to reach. The towels were strange to use. 100% microfiber. Like a sham for a car 😳 Poor use of/wasted space inside. Tiny home but with “normal size” appliances. No step stool and the dishes on top shelf were really a struggle to get to as I’m not tall. The TV is almost to the ceiling and hard to move to watch it. There should be 2 more curtain panels for the sliding glass door. They do not completely cover that door. Be sure to bring ice(no ice maker or ice trays available), paper towels, cooking spray, spices, etc as they are not provided. I think staff should crack down on the young teens zipping around on the roads in the golf carts and causing a stir up of dust. Also, the swimming pool is a recreational pool. I tried to be in the pool for awhile but there was a woman that was doing laps for the longest time! That is not so much a staff fault but a rude woman’s!! But still … “This Is Not A Lap Pool” would be a good sign addition!! If you are a single person or just a couple for a night or two, it may be your place. For two nights here, we paid almost $550, which included a “forced to buy” insurance for damage. In my honest opinion… Not worth that!!

I am so sorry for your experience we usually have a 5 star when it comes to cleaning, I wish you would have notified us right away. We live on the resort and would have been more than happy to take care of that for you as well as provided a stool for you. We do sell ice here at the resort and did not realize that it would be ok to leave open spice containers, ect as the property needs to stay compliant with the health dept. The insurance that you were "forced'' to buy is a VRBO thing not a Lynnhurst thing. We thought you may have broke the toilet seat as we replaced it right after your stay. We try hard to make sure that the golf carts are being used the right way , Again I am so sorry and would hive liked the oppertunity to take care of the issues while you were still here.

Very clean and cozy cabin and was available when we needed it most.

Only issue was the electric went off on our check out day so we couldn’t take a shower. But that wasn’t owners fault it just happens in the area especially after the storms of December 11, 2021. We would definitely stay again.
