Loved relaxing in the condo, and on the balcony, both with gorgeous pool and ocean views! Beautiful sunsets and tiki torches glowing around the pool in the evening, while Hawaiian music drifted up from Duke’s restaurant during the day and evening! Condo was nicely appointed with comfortable beds and great bathrooms and showers! Beach chairs and a cooler in the closet for outings! This is an excellent resort with outstanding amenities, and great location! We’ve stayed at this resort 4 times now and this is now our favorite unit!

Family friendly with great beach and pool

Have stayed multiple times and love it here. This unit has a fantastic wrap around balcony with great western views to watch the sunset. My kids love the pools and slide and just a few minutes walk to a great beach with fantastic snorkeling. Will absolutely stay here again.

Perfect place

Great for families. Close to Whaler’s Village in Black rock Beach. The views were amazing from our condo. If you have a family and need room this is your place.

Way above average!

We've had the pleasure to stay at this resort numerous times and it never disappoints. This unit might be our favorite. Corner units are by far the bast and this one is the closest to the ocean and the pool. Maui resort rentals has the process dialed in, they make it veey easy to stay here.

Honua Kai 309

Unit was perfect for our group of parents with two children age 3 and 5 and two grandparents. The younger children utilized a Jacuzzi sleep bed and a futon mattress on the floor in their parents room and the grandparents used the European style twin bed/queen in the second bedroom. Pools with the slide were perfect for our grandchildren. Dukes was consistently good for meals. All in all and extremely fun and easy family vacation. We will definitely be back.

Great Suite

The suite is fantastic. Amazing location and view. You can easily see why the 09 suites are coveted. The suite is spacious and bright and being able to sit on the sofa and still see the ocean is great. This was our second time staying at Honua Kai, but first in approx 10 years. The property is still great, but there are a few signs of wear and tear that need to be addressed, such as tiles falling off from the walls of the two main hot tubs. Overall a terrific stay.

Room was clean and well stocked with everything you'd need for the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms spacious. A/C works amazing. It was perfect for our family of 4. We loved sitting on the patio in the evenings and mornings for our coffee. The view was unbelievable. We loved the proximity to the elevators. No noise from the elevator, but close which made it easy to run up from the pool to grab anything we needed, and also easy to get to the parking garage. Only issue we encountered was the dryer. It would turn off/on while running, so clothes weren't drying, but that is a techinical issue, and nothing that can't be fixed. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back. Mahalo!!!!

LOVED this unit! Definite A++!

We’ve stayed here many times but this was by far my favorite unit. We’ll be coming back for sure. The view, the view, the view was fantastic! So colorful with the pool, fire at night, the red umbrellas and the ocean, so gorgeous. Unit itself was huge, super spacious. Close to elevator which took us directly to the pool. Awesome location! Can’t wait to go back!
