The property was professionally cleaned and inspected prior to arrival, and no plumbing issues were reported during the stay. If something was not functioning properly, we would have addressed it immediately had it been communicated. Regarding the air conditioning, Maui’s climate and high outdoor temperatures can require additional time for the unit to reach a lower temperature after check-in. The system was operating properly. Despite this, upon arrival the guests used offensive language, raised their voices and threatened to move out because the AC had not yet cooled to their preferred setting. The interaction was aggressive and inappropriate on several occasions. We nevertheless addressed every request made during the stay. We provided additional lighting, an extra fan, and accommodated a late complimentary checkout to ensure their comfort. We take guest experience seriously and make every effort to resolve concerns promptly and professionally. However, respectful communication is essential. We would not host these guest again.
