Beautiful stone house with pool and idyllic garden.

This charming property in the countryside is a farm from the 18th century. The completely renovated and well-equipped property is a quiet place and therefore ideal for relaxing. You have access to a terrace and 500 meters away the landlords provide you with a heated communal pool.

Discover the Allied landing beaches, first of all Omaha Beach. 10 km away you can stroll through the fishing village of Grandcamp-Maisy and indulge in delicious food from the sea. Visit the historic city of Bayeux with its famous tapestry as well as Caen and the castle of William the Conqueror. 25 km away you can take a wonderful walk through the forest Cerisy, where a medieval monastery is hidden. From October to April, you can discover life on a French farm and join the convivial family dinners for a small fee.

Note for families with children: The house has an open staircase, and the pond in the garden is not fenced.

Leider eine unzumutbare Unterkunft

Das Haus an sich ist wie auf den Bildern zu sehen einfach eingerichtet . Das Problem war allerdings, dass es einen (im Vorfeld dem Vermieter bekannten) Mäusebefall im Haus gab. Es war Kot im Schlafzimmer und in der Küche zu finden. Außerdem wurden seitens der Vermieter bereits Schlagfallen in der Küche aufgestellt. Nach Ansprache des Problems wurde zusätzlich neben dem Bett Mäusegift deponiert. Es gab keine Alternative Unterkunft und seitens FEWO Direkt waren wir auch alleine gelassen. Aus gesundheitsschädlichen und Ekel bedingten Gründen sind wir unmittelbar in ein Hotel gegangen. Was es mit zwei Erwachsenen, einem Kind und zwei Hunden nicht gerade einfach gemacht hat. Auf Kontaktaufnahme versuche wurde seitens FEWO Direkt nicht einmal reagiert. Wäre das Mäuseproblem behoben oder im Vorfeld eine Alternative aufgezeigt worden wäre es sicherlich ein schöner Aufenthalt gewesen . So war es jedoch nur ärgerlich und teuer…
