One of the best vacation areas for the whole family is located in the westernmost part of Denmark. Blåvand is a small cozy town with a variety of shopping and many good family restaurants, whether it be a quick pizza or a decidedly gourmet treat. At Denmark's best swimming beach, the southern Hvidbjerg Strand you will experience all the advantages of a North Sea beach, at the same time this beach is very child friendly, as it lies in the lee of the large Horn Rev, which is the foundation for the largest windmill park in the world.
