This beautiful peninsula is known for its many castles and manor houses, its charming gently rolling landscape and the good especially child-friendly beaches on the north coast. There are many exciting destinations to explore. Sostrup Monastery, where the nuns will be happy to give you a guided tour, Mejlgaard Castle, Stenvad Mosebrugscenter, where you can learn all about the former use of the moors, the amusement park Djurs Sommerland or the Kattegatcenter in Grenå, where you can watch the sharks up close. Also visit the picturesque town of Ebeltoft and experience the larger cities of Grenå, Randers and Århus with their many attractions.
