Welcome to all!<br><br>We're all new here on Vrbo, so no reviews yet but you can check on Airbnb to put your mind at ease - it's all positive :)<br><br>This place of life is much more than just an apartment at the foot of the slopes for us. It is our little corner of paradise where we have been meeting with our family of travellers and with our friends for almost 40 years. We are delighted to welcome you there.<br><br>It is a little corner of paradise to be alone and to meet up with those you love. It is an ideal starting point to explore the mountains, lakes, rivers, and all the beautiful surrounding nature.<br><br>Description of the apartment:<br>The apartment is on the second and last floor. Of about 70 m2 on two levels, you will find downstairs a bedroom with double bed (140cm), a living room with fireplace, the kitchen with a large terrace and a bathroom with separate toilet. Upstairs you will find a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm), another bedroom with a double bed (160cm), single bed and additional single mattress, as well as a bathroom with toilet shared by both bedrooms. Finally, you will find an office room with TV and a slightly old sofa bed, which we will soon replace - but which often does the trick when there are many of us.<br><br>You will soon realise that the apartment is better equipped than most other mountain rentals you may have experienced - as if you were part of the family:)<br>- WIFI and Netflix on the top TV.<br>- You will find wood for the fireplace on the terrace (we can charge you for what you used when you left but we would really prefer if you could replace it please).<br>- Library with assortment of books, maps of the surrounding mountains for your hikes<br>- Assembly of board games and family guitar!<br>- A first-aid kit<br>- Cleaning equipment and lots of little things that should make for a great stay.<br>- The kitchen is equipped with everything you should need: fondue, raclette, blender, bean coffee machine, as well as dishwasher, washing machine, dryer.<br>- On the balcony, you will find deckchairs, benches and a fold-out table to eat in the sun.<br>- You will have access to a cellar for your ski equipment, sledges, bicycles etc.<br><br>Description of the district:<br>The apartment is located in Les Verneys - a particularly peaceful part of Valloire. Within a 300-metre walk, you will find the chairlift with ticket office to get the passes. Right next to it, there is a bakery, a small cheese shop, bars, restaurants and the departure of the free shuttle. Also, you will find two shops for ski/snowboard equipment rental and mountain bikes/electric bikes and other equipment. The free shuttle bus arrives 300 metres from the apartment in front of the chairlift. Please note that all this is mainly operational in season. The river is nearby and you can go hiking directly from the apartment.<br><br>Travel & Parking:<br>• There is free parking behind the building.<br>• During the winter and summer seasons, the city offers a free shuttle service. We recommend that you visit the Tourist Office in town to find out about the bus schedule and all the events and activities planned during the period of your stay.<br>• If you own an electric car, you can park next to the bakery near the ski lifts - there are two spaces and charging is free.<br><br>Sheets and towels:<br>We wanted to offer bed linen and towels all year round but unfortunately the laundry closes out of season. We therefore adjust the prices accordingly. Thank you for your understanding. <br>- Out of season: From 1 Septemberst to December 23rd and from April 15th to June 30th: bed linen and towels will not be included.
