Just a short 5-minute (400-yard) stroll takes you to the beach and the Dunes House, a favorite spot with a beachside restaurant and bar. The General Store is right around the corner, known for its hearty breakfasts and legendary fried chicken at lunch. During the season, enjoy the complimentary Dunes Buggy shuttle to Shelter Cove’s shops, restaurants, and entertainment.

Second year staying here with the family and wouldn’t want it any other way. Can’t beat the location and all the space. The lagoon is a great backdrop for eating breakfast as well as dinner. The beach is just a quick walk down the road and the ability to just take a bike to the general store is amazing. The kitchen could use a little more silverware but that’s an easy fix. Overall this place is definitely at the top of my list for our annual trips to HHI.

Villa on the Lagoon

Overall we had an excellent stay in this comfortable villa just a short walk from the ocean. Our kids and teen grandchildren each spent a week with us and had wonderful time biking, beaching, and enjoying the resort complex. We would definitely come back to this ideal location.
