This pet friendly home was perfect for our stay visiting family in the area for the holidays. Nice, well equipped kitchen space, and spacious dining area, plenty of comfortable seating in the living area. Host was very helpful and responded quickly to any inquiries. Would definitely recommend!
We had wonderful stay, place was very nice and clean. It was loaded with all the possible things that’s needed for a trip! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a place that’s close to all UP attractions.. We would come again to stay in this place…
Sam was an excellent and very accommodating host. The place is nice and comfortable. Downtown is just across the street and the pasties from Hiawatha are even closer and very tasty.
Cozy, lovely house and a great stay. Sam is an awesome host—friendly, caring, and quick to respond. Smooth communication, and the free pastries were a nice touch!
Sam was great to work with! His communication was quick and always helpful. The house was a nice place to rest our heads at night as we spent most our time exploring the UP during the day. I would stay here again.
We had a great stay! Sam went above and beyond with snacks, free pastie meal, pancake mix, syrup, and condiments being provided. It was a great location to everything around. We would definitely recommend staying here!
The property was just like it was described. It was clean and comfortable. The location was close to popular attractions and pet friendly! The host was super nice and helpful!
We really enjoyed our time at Sam’s home! The pasties were delicious too. We were even able to add an extra day onto our stay too last minute! Thank you for the hospitality :)
We were coming to Michigan for a graduation and added a few days on the UP to get some hiking and sightseeing in. It was hauntingly beautiful to see all the trees without their leaves and the summer cottages empty. Hiking was amazing with lots of gushing waterfalls. This place was warm, cozy, easy to get to and well stocked. The Pasties were yum too.
Right across the street from the Northern point of Lake Michigan
Really enjoyed our stay. Sam is a great host. We went to many local attractions including the snowmobile museum which we walked to from our place. Nice accommodations and located close to the Ship wreck museum and other attractions. The dog beach is just down the street. Our dogs loved the experience.
Had a great stay at Naubinway base camp. Everything as described! Great location and very comfortable. Most important the AMAZING hospitality from the owner Sam! Not something you find much these days. Personally - Thanks for everything Sam!!! Its worth the stay!
