Mt. Baker Fun

What a GREAT property! We used this great cabin as a base for our hiking explorations. Not a lot of dining options and those were just so-so, but the cabin was nicer than the pictures in the listing. SO many trails to choose from for all levels, inexperienced to hiking junkies. Would love to come back.

The Church Mt View Chalet is a beautiful cabin, in the middle of a really lovely community, Snowline. We were so impressed with how this development has preserved the old trees and native plants surrounding each cabin. Even 'tho they are fairly close to each other, we had no sense of being close or being aware of anyone else nearby. It's lovely to walk through the community, and you can even access a trail along the Nooksack River (at the opposite side of the community from this cabin).The cabin had great beds and bathrooms, and a lovely sitting area and fireplace. The kitchen had a rather odd selection of equipment, with some giant pots, pans and implements but only one small saucepan. (I took to calling it the Sasquatch cabin 'cause things seemed to be designed for giants.) We had some glitches with Luxury Getaways, for example with the cabin not being quite ready for us when we got there, and them alternately telling us that checkout was at 10 versus 11. But these were minor issues. All in all we loved staying there and would love to come back.

Beautiful property with cleanliness and admin issues

The house was very beautiful but it has one major flaw as I mentioned in subject that water was dipping to downstairs room above bed when someone was taking shower upstairs. It was really disgusting and we stopped using that room completely. When I tried to call them to raise a complaint it seems the helpline desk was unable to locate my reservation! Tough I received an email and message from them just the previous day.

Great spot. Beautiful surroundings. Would definitely consider going back.

Appreciated the cleanliness of the inside of the home. Nice comfortable spaces and a well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and nice linens.
