About this property

Luminous Lantern - Amazing Summer Cabin - Great Deck - Near Hiking/Biking Trails

This lovely, romantic cabin is not to be missed! Designer remodeled, elegantly furnished, and stunningly appointed. Located in a desirable private community of quaint summer cabins, offering lake and pier access, this gem is tucked into a forested corridor, graced by majestic pines and old growth manzanita. Ascend a rustic stone walk anchored by boulders and native greenery to a spacious deck, an open restful perch from which to enjoy sunny Tahoe days and Stargazing nights. Perhaps you'll catch a glimpse of a Peregrine Falcon!

Before even entering the cabin, an inviting outdoor living environment beckons, stylishly furnished and equipped with Weber BBQ. Open the door, and you might catch your breath at first sight of the vaulted log beam ceiling and massive stone fireplace, artistically lit at night for full effect. The living room hosts many lovely and comfortable seating options for viewing the state-of-the-art TV, snuggling in front of a roaring fire, or warming by the chic Scandinavian gas stove, your primary heat source. The charming kitchen/dining area, a lovingly preserved remnant of the “Old Tahoe” we all knew and loved, is cozy but artistically designed, beautifully equipped, and cleverly organized.

Adjacent is an inviting bedroom, furnished with a Queen bed and crisp white linens. The bathroom is unexpectedly modern, with black designer tile, high end fixtures, view windows and a heated floor! The large Primary Bedroom loft, sumptuously furnished with king size bed and sitting area, is open to the living room, with views of firelight dancing on the ceiling above.

Ready for adventure? The National Forest trailhead and bike path await, just a few minutes walk, with access to the Tahoe Rim Trail.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! The location is absolutely stunning, offering a serene and peaceful environment. Being so close to the beaches was a major plus, and walking around the neighborhood was a delightful experience. The cabin itself is very clean and authentic, adding to the charm of the stay. The deck is particularly amazing and perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. Highly recommend this place for a tranquil getaway!

Great for a couple

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the property. We enjoyed our stay! The location was great and the property was very clean and just as listed. If you plan on doing any cooking, there isn't a dishwasher. We were aware of that and it wasn't an issue for us. The bathroom was very well done but a bit small. We appreciated the heated floors and the modern touches.

Nice little spot in North Lake Tahoe area

Unfortunately, we were here during an unusually hot period and the house does not have AC so we had to keep every blind closed and stay out during the day. Only after sunset did it become comfortable. However, this would not be an issue if it was normal temperatures. The house gives off the feeling of being a bit cluttered but still very cute. We had everything we needed for our three night stay.

Thank you for the review, Monica. Yes, it can get hot here from time to time. We recommend keeping the home closed up during the day and opening it up once it cools down. It cools down very quickly and locking in the cool air will keep the home comfortable.

A cabin dream!

We had a lovely time at this Cabin - no complaints at all. This is just the type of cabin I love - modern and clean, but cozy and rustic-looking. The loft bedroom is really lovely as well. Very close to the incredibly beautiful lake. I highly recommend this stay!
