The pretty town of Marcillac-la-Croisille is located in the Pays d'Egletons, land of the Troubadours, bounded on one side by the first slopes of the Millevaches plateau, on the other by the gorges of the Dordogne, those of the Luzège and Doustre. This is to say the wild and well marked character of this part of Corrèze where outdoor activities take on their full meaning.

In the center of the village, next to the church which strikes the hours of the day, 4 apartments have been completely renovated in 2021. Named after the large nearby lake, the "La Valette" apartment consists of 2 large rooms: the kitchen (combined oven, fridge) and the large bedroom (1 double bed, linen provided, TV, Internet connection). The adjoining shower room/WC is independent. Well placed in the middle of shops, restaurants and services, it is a great address for those who want to discover this peaceful and discreet corner of Corrèze.
