We would have been happy to remedy all of the issues you mention at the beginning of your 3-week stay had you let us know about them, as we really prioritize ensuring our guests have a positive experience. We have a professional cleaning team that ensures all bedding and dishes are cleaned to a professional standard and in good shape (& replaced if necessary). They are very consistent, but for the very rare lapse, we are always happy to send them back out to remedy any issues. They did assure us the bedding did not have holes, but we would have been happy to provide additional bedding or pillows upon request. Similarly, we would’ve been happy to order new knives if you had let us know the existing ones had become too dull or new outdoor cushions if you’d informed us they were torn, as that is news to us. We’ve ordered replacements for all of these items. Regarding the sliding patio door, we had it newly installed less than a year ago and has a simple lock. It appears that a previous guest had loosened the latch, but our handyman was able to tighten it up after your stay so it is functioning as good as new. There is also a security bar for the patio door that can be used to make it impossible to open that door. Regarding the noise, we try to be as transparent about this as possible, and many of our other reviews address it, with most noting it doesn’t bother them at all. We can appreciate some are more sensitive to noise than others
