It was perfect for us We walked around and took the granddaughter to the park Originally from Tahlequah and hadn’t been down town in a long time We were there for decoration of family
First off the way it was tucked in to a quiet neighborhood by the college was nice. Just be sure to listen to the navigation app. It is a hidden gem. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking if needed. I loved the couch after a long day at the river. Perfect for vegging out after a day of peopling. The decor was rad too. I need to know where the cool bird art was from.
This is a great place to stay for a small group of friends. There is only one full bed, so we did bring an air mattress and it worked out perfectly! Super clean and organized with anything you might need! Driveway is super steep so make sure to drive a truck or SUV. Small cars can’t make it up! Owner was super responsive and helpful with any and all questions. Overall a great experience!

Ok for the price
Several construction areas making it hard to find. Driveway is unaccessible by most vehicles and the second room was not available to use. Close to river access. Garbage disposal not accessible as well. In town so close to needed areas.

Tahlequah visit
Sufficient for what we needed, but I also understand why the rate was low. The unit was lacking a few things - looked high and low for an iron, but never found it; bathroom door does NOT close all the way - not very private; no dishwasher; it's listed as "sleeps 5", but that's kinda misleading - single chair opens to a single bed, but sofa is just a sofa, and the chair (zebra stripe) is NOT sleepable (my adult daughter slept on the floor...Nick, please address this bed issue, or change to "sleeps 4".); the unit smells kinda old; no TV in bedroom.
On the other hand, the washer and dryer looked brand new, and Nick the host was very responsive and helpful, so that's good.
Don't know if I'll ever be in Tahlequah again, but I definitely won't stay here again.

We arrived at the location and started to unpack. There were no hangers in the closet. Very little toilet paper and paper towels..there was an ironing board but no iron. A tiny bit of dish soap. First thing we had to do instead of relaxing, we had to go to the store. The house smelled of dog urine. It was horrible. The stove was dirty and when I went to use the oven, it was filthy and had been broken for a long time. Dust build up. Oven was advertised. I chose this place because of the picture of the living room. Picture was not what we got. Picture had colorful rug. Turquoise coach, a zebra old fashioned fainting couch and two red ottomans. I had just had knee surgery and needed to prop my leg up..NONE of that was there. False advertising at its best. It has a very steep driveway and a dangerous drop off on the narrow driveway. The front porch had a case full of cigarette butts and lighter and cigarettes on railing. The grass was about knee high so you couldn’t get to the advertised sitting area out back. There was no overhead light in the living room and no lamps on the nightstands. Both the washer and dryer had things in them so had to deal with that before we could use. Floor is coming up and toilet seat not bolted down. We were going to cancel and get a refund but we couldn’t find another place. Host said he would give partial refund but it’s been almost a week and he has done nothing. This place needs to be shut down.
