Bonnie's Bunkhouse was a great place to stay, and so much more than a bunkhouse. Very spacious and comfortable house with fantastic views, quick access to Teton Pass Ski Area and a really great atmosphere. Really enjoyed it and would rent again!
Loved the history and Montana charm this ranch house offers. All the amenities you could ask for with lots of extra nice touches that are warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Thanks for the review and for choosing to stay at Bonnie's Ranch House!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Bonnie’s Ranch house when we were in Choteau for my niece’s wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better, more homey place to hang out and relax throughout the two days of festivities. Such a beautiful area—I know where I’ll be staying when I return!
The location was surreal and soul filling. Thank you for sharing your space and we will certainly be back one day. What an incredible it was to stay here.
We were in town for a wedding at Teton Pass and were so comfortable and happy in this house - it was the perfect home base for a busy couple of days. Spacious, clean, and with all amenities we needed. Hope to come back soon- Thanks so much!!
This country home was absolutely beautiful. Alot of history provided on it that was amazing to read and pictures to look at. It reminded me of staying at my grandparents home in the summertime. Close to fishing and hiking if your into that like we are. A great family experience.
This quiet country home was the perfect location for our Montana trip. We were 2 hours from each of our destinations to visit, but the travel was worth it with the views we saw. The east side of Glacier is the best place to stay. And having this sweet rental to come home to was exactly what we needed. Danelle is the perfect host too.
A spacious home and property! The home and property were quiet, allowing for a peaceful setting and beautiful views with easy access to town and the Rocky Mountain Front areas.
Bonnie's Ranch was our peaceful base during a busy wedding week. Mornings there were the best as the sunrise glowed and the horse trotted by. The kitchen set-up allowed us to enjoy preparing and serving family meals. All slept comfortably. The back deck was great for Scrabble, snoozing or stargazing.
Teton River, western meadowlarks, and views of the Rockies
What a restful, welcoming home for our family as we explored Choteau, Bynum, and the Western Range. Lots of room, a delightful deck for dining, and very well stocked for cooking and staying. Western meadowlarks sang to us each evening, deer and fawn visited in the morning. A short walk to wade in the Teton River. Very quiet and good sleeping.
It was just what we needed as a family. There was a kestrel that greeted us in the mornings and board games and stuff in the evening when we returned. It was relaxing family time for the adults, and loud hilarity for the teenagers that didn’t have to worry about waking up the neighbors with their giggling. We had the best time.
We felt so at home at Bonnie’s Ranch House. It’s lovely just like staying in someone’s home but they are not there, but still you feel the caring presence. We had everything we needed. It’s very quiet. We watched horses caper with their colts and deer with their babies. Hated to leave!

Spacious Ranch House
This property worked well for 4 couples. Living room and kitchen seating for 8 was appropriate.
Listing states additional cost of $35/person. Beware that it is $35/person/night. We felt the per night was excessive. Per person for the extend of the stay is reasonable. I messaged through VRBO several times to clarify the cost without a response. Ultimately called to get my answer, but by then I was past my cancellation date. That being said, the accommodations worked well for us.
While the house is outdated, it is very clean and well cared for. Beds were comfortable, well appointed, and good location. We enjoyed our stay with friends.
Wonderful place to stay. The house was very comfortable. It was absolutely beautiful.
We had a wonderful stay on our hunting trip. The home was awesome and veiws were beautiful. Definitely staying here again. Thanks so much we had everything we needed.
House is my favorite kind...ranch style...lots of windows, the deck and yard are awesome! Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, water pressure great...just what we needed after riding our horses into the Bob Marshall each day! And Danelle let us keep our horses in the big corral nearby...peace of mind and convenient. The location was perfect...put us 13 miles already on our way into the mountains but not too far to run back into Choteau for Wilcoxsen's ice cream :) Rode out of the Middle, South and West Fork Teton Trailheads. Scenery was stunning! Wanted to stay longer!!
We enjoyed the spacious comfort of Bonnie's Ranch House. A stay here is like being a guest of Bonnie's on the family ranch with family photos on the wall and decorated with her personal items, reflecting her life. The house was very clean and provisioned with everything you might need. We enjoyed the quiet rural setting and location of the house privately set away from the main ranch operations. Very relaxing!

About the host

We are 4th generation ranchers. My husband and I both grew up in the area.
Why they chose this property
Bonnie's Ranch House is offered as a vacation rental on our ranch. Gramma Bonnie passed away a few years ago and we wanted to keep her house active so offering it as a short term rental seemed like a good fit.
What makes this property unique
Staying in the country in a beautiful home with a nice yard is very relaxing! The Teton River is just across the road and the mountains are just up the road.
