Come make yourself at home in our beautiful 2 Bedrooms/ 1 Bath Yellow Cottage. Conveniently located : 1.4 miles from I-40 and 1.7 miles from I-27, 2 miles from downtown, and 2 miles from Route 66.
The kitchen has granite counter tops, a prep Island, fully loaded to prepare dinner. A formal dinning room with a table for six.
The Smart tv on living room has Disney plus and Hulu.
Located in Bivins Neighborhood, only 1.8 miles from Route 66. Route 66 is a one mile of antiques, boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and bars.
Only 1.3 miles from downtown Amarillo, shopping, Civic Center, Hodgetown and many restaurants

Your Family will love to relax in the shaded backyard equipped with a barbecue grill, dinning table, and patio furniture.

In the back It's another VRBO Yellow Studio (1 bed/1bath+ garage), separated and gated, that you can rent upon request and availability.

The Driveway located on front side of the house is reserved for the Yellow Cottage Home guests.

Great area to go for a walk/or jogging . My favorite route : Start on 12th st(across st of the house) walk around the little park (about one block from the house) and along S Julian Blvd.
Another nearby Park is Ellwood park 0.9 miles from the house.

Wonderful Cottage

We were in town for a convention and looking for a place that would allow our small dog and had a yard with a fence that was good enough to keep it in and this place was just delightful spacious clean, renovated beautifully. The yard was just amazing. we totally enjoyed our time we had a grill. We had patio area that you could close the gate and separate the little dog away from it was just a wonderful experience. Looking forward to staying here again.

Southern Charm

This is a beautiful home in Amarillo. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and the home is spectacularly clean. We experienced a dose of good ole fashioned Southern Charm. Highly recommend this home for a comfortable stay in Amarillo.

Very nice cottage

We enjoyed this house during our short stop in Amarillo. It was beautiful and cozy. The porch and lawn were very inviting - perfect for morning coffee. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with equipment to cook. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable and well equipped

The home was very cute in a lovely neighborhood. Very quiet yet close to shopping, etc. We stayed iver Thanksgiving and were able to prepare a full, traditional meal with the kitchen dishes and tools. Nice yard too. Would recommend

Great clean home

This house was beautiful and very accommodating. We stayed with our young’s kids and it was so nice to have them play in the fenced in back yard. Definitely a great home for families.

Weekend stay

We had a great experience renting a VRBO for the first time. Property was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed to sleep/stay comfortably. Check in/out process was easy, and communication with the owners was great. We loved this house, and would recommend for anyone heading to Amarillo. Close to downtown, and easy access to the interstate.

We really enjoyed the house, great kitchen, comfortable bed. Owner needs to address water pressure and hot water temperature, (luke warm). The house has been nicely restored making it a great stay for 2.

Cozy

The cottage was very clean and bright. Location to everything was convenient. The bed in one of the bedrooms was very soft and my husband and I kept rolling into the middle. If you like soft beds then you’re all set. There was a back shed/ garage on the property but not sure who lived in it.They never bothered us and we never saw anyone so I guess that is perfectly fine. Just want anyone not to be alarmed. All in all it was a great clean and convenient house.

Awesome

Elisha is a great host. Everything you need is in the home. Usually kitchen cookware is cheap, not so in this home; if you want to prepare a meal you have good cookware. The kitchen cabinets are well thought out and very functional. Beds are comfortable, quite neighborhood, nice to sit outside and relax. My only suggestion would be to have more k-cups available for those of us who drink to much coffee. Will definitely return if going to Amarillo.

Beautiful little yellow house.

This was our first stay in a VRBO property. We've stayed in condos and hotel rooms before, but this was a totally different experience. We didn't have much interaction with Elisia, our host, but that's due to the fact that we didn't need anything. Everything was there, clean and ready to use! We used the gas stove, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, and propane grill. Everything worked flawlessly and all of the space in the home is organized nicely. Great value for the money, and much more comfortable than a hotel or condo.

We arrived at the property at 8:00 in the evening but we had never received the house Code! Spent over an hour on the phone with VRB0 trying to get the house Code!! Very unpleasant!

perfect relaxing home away from home

We stayed at the Yellow Cottage for 10 days. The cottage was very comfortable and very homey. It fit us and our dog Henry perfectly. After a day of hiking at Palo Duro we would come home and shower and relax on the patio. The bed was great, the kitchen worked well for us and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. We walked the dog every day. The Bivins neighbor and the Wolflin neighborhoods were good places to do that. We felt very safe in those neighborhoods. We did stay away from the east and north of the Yellow Cottage, didn't appear to be the best of areas. Elisia was very responsive. we always heard back from her within about 5 minutes. she always had answers to our questions. We highly recommend the Yellow Cottage.
