Property is well kept and on a really neat lake. The host does a great job of providing everything you need and then some! The home was clean, comfy and cozy, we hope to stay there again sometime!
We enjoyed it so much last year we came back this year. Great little place on a great size rec lake. Post Lake is not too big, not too small. All the amenities you need, without the hustle of a busy tourist town. Definitely will be back again.
Very comfortable for a party of 4. Excellent fishing and swimming in a very clean lake. Close enough to town, yet plenty rural enough for a getaway. Very well supplied cabin with all the amenities needed for a very cozy stay.
Peaceful and quiet location with nice lake view. Host provided just about everything you need for a great time. Comfortable beds and furniture inside and out. Nice spacious property in a beautiful setting. Convenient to small town and good carport for vehicle.

Property is very well maintained, and clean. Keep in mind this is a lakeside cabin, not a primary residence so it does not have some of the creature comforts some will want. However, if you are wanting a quite getaway and enjoy lakeside living it is perfect.
Thank you so very kindly for allowing us to stay at your awesome Northwoods Lake Cabin! Our stay was absolutely amazing! Pure serenity to say the least. The Traeger grill was an absolute luxury! Your property was exactly "what the doctor ordered" The amenities were over & beyond expectations!!! Our golden doodle thoroughly enjoyed the water as did we. We would highly recommend your Lake Cabin to anyone seeking a peaceful & relaxing retreat! We look forward to returning in the future! Thanks again!!! Be well and Godspeed!Best,Jim And Deanne from East Central Wisconsin.
The cabin was wonderfully comfortable and cozy. Tiny but great kitchen to cook in. Grills were perfect for grilling. We enjoyed the dock and all the outdoor places to relax. Good places to walk and we enjoyed kayaking and fishing. The lake is shallow with a sand bottom. Interesting birds visited us including the loons, eagles, turkeys, and cranes. A big snapping turtle we dubbed the Post Lake monster. Lots of little turtles shared the calm and quiet water with us. Highly recommend if you are looking for peace and quiet. Oh sunsets and stars!!
Very well stocked cabin in an excellent location on Post lake. The yard is fantastic and the host provides plenty of yard games.
Just be aware there is no Wi-Fi and very minimal cell coverage.
We loved the cabin we were in , it was beautifully done and had all the conveniences you wanted. The owner let us use his dock, so we spent most of our day on the lake boating, fishing, swimming. We explored the Wolf river that connects to the lakes. Great house. Clean lake. Wonderful time! Thank you!
Delightful property, in a picturesque, peacefully quiet location. Pretty much everything we needed for our stay was available. The nightly loon serenades were a special touch.
A minor quibble: we only wished there was some internet availability, as there seem to be few local businesses that offer wifi.
Property was exactly as described by owner, great size for 2 couples. Clean and tidy…..we absolutely loved having use of the Traeger grill! Great location, lake is clean and easy to navigate with a boat. We would definitely stay here again!!
Beautiful views on Post Lake! The lake was perfect for skiing, tubing, fishing, and swimming. The lot had plenty of room for yard games, campfires, etc. Cottage had wonderful amenities making it easy to unwind. Deer even stopped by a few times while we were eating dinner outdoors.
This is a very nice cabin with charming decor that made for a very fun and relaxing up north vacation. Two nice kayaks, a great, large fire pit, great outdoor seating, comfortable beds and more make this a great place to stay. There’s no need to overpack because the owners provide just about everything you could need, especially in the kitchen. And seeing all of the wildlife on and near the property really made this a special place to stay at for us. We saw hummingbirds, some kind of falcons (we think), loons on the lake (and heard them just about every night), bald eagles, and more. It really was just lovely. The only thing I would say to be aware of is that there are stairs (with a railing) to get down to the water, so I can see where that could be a problem for some people (such as those with limited mobility or small children). Otherwise, I would say this is a great choice for your next vacation! :)

Thank you for the review and I am glad you were able to relax and enjoy your time. I will add a comment regarding stairs to the lake and pier so people are aware.
Thanks
This cabin is in a great location for either chilling out on the quiet property (with a hammock, lots of comfortable outdoor seating, and a perfect fire pit), hiking in nearby parks, fishing, kayaking, or just enjoying nature with friends and/or family. I saw raccoons and deer and many hummingbirds, heard loons, and slept very comfortably. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there is lots of parking.
There's no wifi, cell service isn't great, and the water is very metallic, but I would definitely return if I wanted to disconnect and enjoy Northern Wisconsin again for a few days. The owner was responsive as well, and provided good visitor information. A pretty great stay!
Very nice little cabin. Beautifully overlooking lake. Mosquitoes are really bad if you get away from tiki torches. Be sure and screen shot your door code before you get there as there is very little cell internet to look up there, but I enjoyed the peace.
