Waterfront Log Cabin

Welcome to our super cozy and serene cabin at Lake Okeechobee. View beautiful sunsets and watch the boats go by from the screened in porch. This home is in the only log cabin condo community in Florida. We are located on the rim canal of the northern part of the lake. While staying with us, fish from the docks, and if you bring or rent a boat, park it right in your backyard, where the docks are first come, first serve. The property also boasts it own convenient boat slip, which is for use by all the residents and guests of Log Harbor, our community. The closest entry lock to the lake is about a mile away.

Lake Okeechobee is the second largest lake in the United States and has some of the best Bass fishing around.

Shopping is just 10 minutes away. You can enjoy our small town shops and local restaurants. Weekly flea markets and maybe a fishing tournament. If you want to explore a little more Orlando, Miami and Tampa are just 2 hours away and beautiful beaches surrounding you all around.

It was perfect for visiting our friends who live at the nearby Ancient Oaks community. It could use a hairdryer, extra toilet paper and soap in the bathroom and paper towels in the kitchen. We did buy some toilet paper and left the remainder there. There is a Dollar General close by for any needed items. Otherwise a perfect stay!

Paul, I’m so sorry you felt the cabin only deserved 3 stars. If you needed any extra garbage bags, we gladly would provide it. Generally, for 1 night and 2 guests, 1 13 gallon bag generally suffices. Also, not quite sure what was tight in the parking as people have no problem parking utility vehicles as large as suburbans or bigger and have room for a boat trailer. Again, would have gladly assisted (we could have shown you where overflow parking is located), had you addressed any of these concerns with us during your stay.

The cabin was fine. Bathroom a little tight. Comfortable sofa and chair. cabin 9 needs a new mattress on the downstairs bed. We purchased and left wash cloths, dish cloths and dish towels as there were none there. Also purchased a rubber mat to cover the drain in the kitchen sink so it would hold water for dish washing. Left it for next renter.
