Ideally located just across the beach from Kahalu'u Beach Park. This is a great place to stay if you like to snorkel, surf and swim. If not, it is close to everything else.

Easily accessible, convenient and with good under water scenery, Kahalu'u Bay is the most user friendly Snorkel Beach on the island. Unit is large and has had recent upgrades.

The pool and BBQ overlooking the bay make a great spot to relax and congregate after a day of exploring and shopping!

And don't forget the awesome view

We had a great time and Duane was a great and responsive host! Great views, so close to the bay and snorkeling and surfing! The parking spot was a little small for our big rental but worked!Would return and recommend this spot!

Duane I was positive communicative and very quick to respond if we had questions. I appreciate him so much and he and his wife provided an apartment that had all the things we could need from a boogie board to snorkel equipment to towels to portable chairs for the beach and it’s also a wonderfully equipped home Away From Home apartment with a good kitchen, Great mattresses, and the air-conditioning. Wonderful.

Great location on the island overall, and in relation to being away from yet close to downtown Kona; and my goodness, across the street from a great snorkeling and surfing spot, the 24/7 ocean view and of course the sunsets.Well-appointed condo including the kitchen with so many of the tools of modern living, and comfortable mattresses and climate control.

Wonderful Stay -- We Didn't Want to Leave!

We loved our stay at this property — the location was perfect and it had everything we needed for an incredible vacation. We especially appreciated all the beach gear provided, which made it so easy to snorkel at one of the best snorkeling beaches in Hawaii. And the view was incredible. Our only complaint is that our stay was too short! We can’t wait to come back.

What an amazing spot! Loved watching my husband surf from the lanai while my baby napped. The apartment had everything we could possibly need from a surfboard down to seasonings. The owners are exceptionally responsive to questions!

Quite a nice place

Fully furmished 2 bedroom, two bath with a great view in a third floor walkup. Also has a foldout sofa bed, a nice selection of beach gear. A quiet pool, off street parking, and responsive owners. It suited our needs very well.

Great location!

The condo is in a great location! Beautiful ocean views from the third floor. We enjoyed walking over to the best snorkel beach daily. All the beach gear was available at the condo to borrow. The condo was very well stocked with linens, towels and kitchen basics. The pool area is nice if you want a break from the ocean. Duane was easy to reach and quickly responsive to questions. Parking is on site. Condo is a bit dated but very comfortable. We would stay again.

We have been to every Island many times but we decided to buy here on the Big Island. We have enjoyed our place and try to visit as many times as possible. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

Why they chose this property

We love the beautiful location. Right across from the best Snorkel Beach at Kahaluu bay. We have a great view of the bay and the surfers. During the winter season we can see the whales breaching. We added a spotting scope to see them even better.

What makes this property unique

We have snorkel gear and a surf board. All you have to do is walk across the street. We have beach chairs, towels and ice chest if you don't want to get in the warm tropical water.
