We loved this farmhouse. It was like staying in a museum! The antique toys, games and books were so fun. We enjoyed paddle boarding on the Green River and touring Mammoth Cave, but the kids and dogs loved playing in the fields best! It was the perfect rural retreat.

Stepping back in time

We had an amazing experience at the farmhouse and enjoyed the opportunity to stay in such a historic structure. The decor truly made us feel like we had stepped back in time and we enjoyed the quirks of this restored home. The property presents many opportunities to explore, and our dog loved being able to roam off leash. The communication from Bella was outstanding and she made us feel truly at home. The location is remote, and there are not a lot of options in terms of restaurants or grocery stores so we absolutely recommend working with Chef Peg to create a menu for your stay. She cooked a wonderful meal for us at the farm, and we had leftovers through out the week. It was such a luxury not having to worry about cooking, and the food was just delicious!

It is a treat to host such gracious guests! Thank you. Although we didn't plan to meet in person, I'm happy to have had the chance to talk with you and pet your angel of a dog. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the farm and the food, and I hope that your travels might lead you back this way someday...you are always welcome!
