What a beautiful property. The area was quiet, the cabin was impeccably clean, and it was so fun to be around all the farm animals. The barn cats were lovely and kept us company the evening we had a fire. Should we be passing through the area, we will most definitely be staying again!

This is an amazing get away. We rented the Red Rooster cabin for a couple of days. The cabin was clean and provided coziness along with entertainment between the barn animals, the fire ring outside and DVR to chill out indoors.

what a wonderful experience, sleeping in a big bed in a tent, so peaceful, so relaxed. the most memorable night on our trip.
We had such a fantastic time at this property. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly (animals included), the land is gorgeous and well maintained, and the spaces were very clean especially considering that this is a farm tucked into the woods. Super easy drive from the state fair grounds. We cannot recommend this enough!
My friend and I stopped here on our drive home from backpacking in Shenandoah National Park. We had such a good time watching the animals and playing with the cats, watching a movie in the cabin, and enjoying the cafe/market! We didn't expect a VRBO stay to be one of the highlights of our trip, but we are glad that it was so great!
Too cold in the cabin and the bathhouse no insulation in either had to leave after two horrible days

Im sorry you did not enjoy your time. We can not control the weather(Snow dusting for first few days) then it got back to 50’s. We made sure you had propane for the cabin and we had heat going in bath house. Wished you would’ve talked to us before leaving so we could of tried to make things better.
