Le Cottage du Bord de la Lys à 20 min de Lille

This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay with family or friends or colleagues.
The house is entirely for you, you have access to all the rooms of the house and will enjoy the terrace and garden in complete privacy.
It is composed of 3 spacious bedrooms. The kitchen is open to the living room with its dining area and its cosy living room.
The kitchen equipped with all the necessary crockery and appliances opens onto the dining area and the living room and terrace where you can eat and relax from spring.
In the living room, the TV with the box and its 180 channels with access to internet services such as YouTube for example.
Upstairs, three large bedrooms, two of which have a double bed 160x200 and one with a double bed 160x200 and a single bed.
On the convenience side, downstairs you have a toilet with sink and upstairs a bathroom awaits you with a bath/shower and a separate toilet.
The garden is south-west facing and you can admire the glimmers of the sunset when the weather is clear. But in this case I invite you to go and see it 300 m from the house on the banks of the river Lys. Magnificent place very soothing at sunset and at any time of the day with its pretty wooded bank and its bird songs.

Frelinghien is a quiet village with its pharmacy, post office, hairdresser, bakery, Italian restaurant and coccimarket open from Tuesday to Sunday until 7:30 pm.
We are on the border with Belgium just by crossing the Lys bridge which will allow you to walk or cycle along the banks in a bucolic setting lulled by the song of river birds. I especially advise you to go there when the sunset is clear, it is simply sumptuous.
As for visiting, the house is 20 minutes from the citadel of Lille where you can park (Champ de Mars car park) to go to the old Lille, the Grand'Place and its pedestrian streets or the famous Wazemme market or the museums of fine arts or that of the Comtesse hospice...
50 minutes from the first beaches between Dunkirk and Boulogne where you can spend the day strolling on the large and beautiful beaches of the north or discover the Platier d'oye, a wild bird observatory site or the sites of the white nose and grey nose capes.
Many other places to discover such as Arras and its magnificent squares, the lake of Villeneuve D'ascq and its restaurant the Quanta at the water's edge or the beautiful Belgian cities of Ghent, Bruges, Kortrijk...
