Perfect pet friendly stay near town

We had a wonderful stay in Saugerties with our dogs. The location is super convenient with the grocery store and Dunkin Donuts just a few steps away. The main street is also very close by. The house itself is extremely clean and has everything you need. Comfortable beds and extra towels. Nice kitchen and backyard grill. Highly recommend.

I’m not sure why this is listed as a brand new house as it is clearly not, however, it is very clean and nicely furnished and decorated and very comfortable. We arrived at 4:00 for check in as we were told to but showed up to find they didn’t know we were coming despite my confirmation and payment. They made quick work to get the house ready on such short notice. There was lots of trash outside and around the house. We could not access the TV or the Wi-Fi. The owner tried to help us and was very responsive, but unfortunately, it could not be resolved. The upstairs was very warm and we did not have access to turn down the heat. The owner was not able to help us with that. She was very responsive, but unfortunately, we could not resolve our issues. I suspect this is not usual for this property and could see that it could be a really nice place to stay. The location is great to walk into town.

Wonderful house

This newly renovated house has everything. Great kitchen (all new appliances) and comfortable living room for television streaming. Nice little backyard for pups to enjoy! Workspace as well if you need a nice spot for laptop.

Great getaway spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at the beautiful new house. The location is great for exploring the area--halfway between Hudson and Rhinebeck. We enjoyed a couple good local restaurants. The house was very well appointed and stocked with everything we needed. The only thing I would add would be luggages stands in bedrooms, as we had to leave our suitcases on the floor.

Why they chose this property

Elizabeth is only 2 mins walk away from grocery store to get BBQ going at the house. Elizabeth is only 5 mins walk to the center of the village with plenty of restaurants and cool places to visit. Some of my favorites ( 244 main st mexican, Dutch, The Avenue Steakhouse, Tavern at Diamond Mills, Love bites Cafe, J&J smokehouse BBQ). There are plenty of things to do in the area as well ( Kiwanis Ice area for skating, fishing, renting a boat from Saugerties of Marina, going to the hike , playing tennis, a few children play grounds, beach is close by, Saugerties Lighthouse, Opus 40, Catskill Animal Sanctuary, Putting plus got mini golf) Must to go to Krause's Chocolates YUM!
