Spent the weekend in Pittsburgh, perfect location! Host was responsive very quickly. Everything we needed to make it a great weekend. Would definitely stay anytime weâre in the Pittsburgh area.
We had a very nice stay. Check-in was quick and easy with the no issues or problems. House was well decorated with plenty of amenities. Just be aware the internal stairs were very steep and the bathrooms and the bedrooms are on separate levels. Very close to the city, restaurants and attractions.
Very nicely remodeled house in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Kitchen and bathroom were fully upgraded. It was very comfortable to stay in the summer. No dedicated parking, but was always able to find parking in front. its a short but hilly walk to GrandView avenue and the overlook, and a short drive into downtown Pittsburgh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Close to downtown
We had a short trip. This adorable little property was a great location and was very accommodating. Property managers had excellent communication! Highly recommend:)
Everything was super easy, we didnât have to do any extensive cleanup and check out was completely painless! Super great location, but parking is limited. Overall, we had a fantastic experience!
My wife and I took a trip to Pittsburgh and this was a wonderful place to stay. The location was very nice with nice walking views of the city and some nice restaurants. Our host Sarah was great to work with. She communicated with us at all times and even provided us with a later check out since we had a late flight and she didn't have a new guest coming. Overall, everything was as advertised. The only caveat, and this had nothing to do with Sarah, was that the two bedrooms where upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs. This was not a problem for us, but if someone has a mobility issue they should be aware.
This home is in a nice area and close to the city. The on street parking is a bit difficult especially when returning home later in the evening. We loved the fenced in yard for our little dog đ
Loved the stay! Home is very welcoming. Love the modern look. Stayed to go to a Steelers game and was super close to the stadium. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely stay again. â¤ď¸
Close walk to highest view, nice restaurants. Close drive to downtown sites. Efficient rental with all thatâs needed for comforts of home. Complete Renovation is very nice while keeping the feel of original home built into hillside.
Family met in Pittsburgh for a fun weekend. This home was perfect for our needs, very clean & comfortable. Yes, the stairs are steep, this is Pittsburgh, itâs quite hilly. We enjoyed our stay centrally located to downtown, Carnegie Science Center. We ate @ Johnnys Diner on the way out, too. Loved the incline and the views.
The location is in kind of a weird neighborhood, in that it's a little bit dirty. That being said, the inside looked great and things were in good working order.
I want to commend these property owners. The property was immaculate and it was real easy to find. Sharon was very nice and responded in a timely fashion to our requests. The neighbors were cordial and welcoming. This was an amazing getaway for a couple's weekend--Cozy, warm, and just the right space. We will be back very soon!
Had to come home to Pgh, family emergency. Our rental was the most pleasant part of our trip. Beautiful house, very nicely decorated and comfortable. Location is perfect. Sarah is a wonderful hostess. We would definately stay here again, her prices on all of her rentals are very reasonable without skimping on anything. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Loved it.
We had a great stay while visiting our son who is a student at Pitt. Great neighborhood within short walking distance to Emerald Park and itâs many hiking trails which our dog loved. You can also walk to the inclines with great city views and restaurants. The house has a nice fenced in yard and friendly neighbors. Itâs only a short drive to the University area and any city attractions. We had a nice dinner at Bingham Tavern. We paid attention to the description of the property having a lot of stairs and we did just fine. Property was very clean.
Perfect place to stay with friends for the Penguins game. Sarah was very helpful and always replied super quick. We got in around noon and decided to get lunch, I contacted Sarah and she let us in just over an hour early which worked out perfect for us. House was very clean and ready for our stay. Tight but cute neighborhood was getting some work done but thatâs nothing. Would rent again
Nice house, small but has what is needed. There is only one bathroom on the lower level and the bedrooms are on the upper level. We were worried about the children on the steep stairs but they did well. The appliances were all new but needed a little more work. The dishwasher tipped out of the cabinet when open. Trash was a little bit of a pain. Cans were full when we arrived and the small/flies were bad. Animals appeared to get into it as well one of the nights. The small improved after I cleaned up and put it in new bags. The Mt Washington neighborhood was interesting for someone used to flat land in Texas. We would stay here again if we find ourselves in Pittsburgh in the future.
We enjoyed our stay even tho our Pirates vs Mets unfortunately got rained out and rescheduled. We were in close walking distance of the Dusquane incline. We also walked all the way to the strip district. There was about a half hour wait to get back on the incline to head back to the house but we probably picked a high traffic time to go back. There are also no bathrooms but a portapotty which we weren't aware of until we got back to the top and the toddler needed the potty. It was a mad dash back to the house. We went to the zoo and aquarium which wasn't a far drive away and there happened to be a lantern festival going on as well. The only thing we didn't pay attention to during our booking was that the bathroom was only a shower. Our mistake as our 2 year old isn't too keen on showers just yet, but we made it work. She did enjoy seeing deer randomly showing up at the neighbors back yard in the morning. We cooked a few meals while we stayed and had majority of all we needed to cook meals. The only thing we purchased was aluminum foil, but the kitchen was decently stocked with most of what you would need. The stairs inside the home were steeper then we expected, but that just meant we had to make sure the 2 year old took her time going up and down. She enjoyed sleeping in such a large bed. We would stay here again if we plan another trip back. The only slightly confusing part is cars parking in all different directions which we aren't used to as we are from Jersey. We also had easy communication with the home owners and they were quick to respond to questions prior to the stay and a few random questions during the stay. Overall we had a great time.

5 Day Trip To Pittsburgh
The location is absolutely amazing! Close to everything that you want to do in Pittsburgh. A short walk to the most amazing views and cool little bars, The Incline and food. Itâs all about location. The stay it self was a little rocky. Wrong check in passcode to get into our place so had to wait outside. The AC broke but the host fixed it. We woke up to someone downstairs while we where sleeping fixing it. Which was a little alarming to wake up hearing a man downstairs but at least they did their best to fix the problem. The AC works great downstairs but upstairs is a problem with circulation and temperature, even after fixing it. The stairs are horrible, there are 2 flights down to where you come in through the kitchen. Then more stairs upstairs to the living space bedrooms. The bathroom is super small with no room for personal items. It is what it is. Not bad but not great. We wouldnât stay there again due to the stairs and space but this is normal for Pittsburgh. Itâs all about location and it was amazing. The host was responsive so canât say anything bad about them and they did their beat to please. They should definitely fix the front door check in lock box so you donât have to clime 2 more flights of stairs down to get in the house, then 1 more flight up. The lock box was broken upstairs so had to use the downstairs to get in. If that wasnât the case then you can go directly to your bedroom and sleep. If you are out on the town and have some drinks, you have to be careful. The bathroom is downstairs which was inconvenient even though I thought it wouldnât be, it turned out to be inconvenience. It was a clean, safe, place to stay. Just seemed to be vacant for a while possibly. But with a little TLC it can be Amazing for the right people. Best wishes, thanks!

About the host

Hey! My name is Sarah, and I would love to host you at one of our amazing properties! I am a resident of the neighborhood and just a few short blocks away with my Labradoodle wolfhound Copper! We love this city and are always happy to share it with new people! On the weekends you will usually find us around the Mount Washington area, either walking one of the many hiking trails in the Mount or just up Grandview Avenue (best view of the Burgh). My family is from Pittsburgh, but I have always loved to travel. I moved to Nashville and toured the country singing with my band. It was amazing, but all good things come to an end so I got my business degree. I lived in Australia for a while too! This world has so many amazing places to go - I still have a very VERY long list. Even with all of that, my heart is still here in Pittsburgh, so this where I started my business and now call home. Thanks for taking some more time to check the place and my profile! Please reach out with any questions!
