Aloha and welcome to Hale O Ka Lau (O-23), a spacious villa in the Golf Villas at Mauna Lani Resort. Enjoy beautiful golf course views, vistas of Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, and Hualālai, and easy access to dining, shopping, golf, and world-class beaches.

Guests receive access to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club at Makaiwa Bay, just five minutes away. Enjoy excellent swimming and snorkeling, shaded lounge areas, and oceanfront dining at Napua Restaurant.
The villa overlooks the fourth hole of the South Course and features a private lanai, vaulted living room, well-equipped kitchen, dining for six, and three smart TVs. Accommodations include a California king primary suite, a queen guest bedroom, and a loft with two twin beds that can be combined into a king-size arrangement.

Please note that this second-floor villa is accessed by 16 steps.

This was a lovely rental. It was clean and spacious and we had the best time. The pool was very cold but very enjoyable once we got used to the temperature. I appreciated the fitness room as well. It's a short drive to the private beach which was perfection. The Mauna Lani coffee shop nearby was also excellent.

Love the Mauna Lani Golf Villas

Third time staying at the Mauna Lani Golf Villas. The access to the beach club, the pool and grounds, great beaches close by, and easy access to a grocery store always make this location an easy pick. The property manager, Adriana, was very responsive and easy to work with.

Just what we needed

We had a fantastic time. The space was perfect for our family of five. Super easy access to the beach club where our girls enjoyed snorkeling. A 15 minute drive to Hāpuna Beach and boggie boarding. Lots to see and do. We want to come back and would stay here again.

Peaceful vacation

Well appointed, clean and quiet. Away from the hub of Kona which was fine with us. The condo has everything you need or want in a vacation rental. To my family this is an adult condo, it overlooks the golf course which is beautiful and extremely quiet atmosphere. We had a lovely stay and would enjoy returning.

We very much enjoyed our stay, in town for a wedding at the Hilton down the road. Great place to retreat to at the end of the day. Comfortable beds, good kitchen, very clean and comfy. Used a cooler from the garage for a day trip. Could have stayed longer!

Wonderful Stay at a Great Condo

The condo was very nice. Clean, well appointed, nice view, nice pool, quiet, convenient parking, air conditioning work very well. Location was great, easy to get to places on the island. Private access beach was wonderful. Needs a real grill on the balcony as with most condo rentals, electric plate griddle provided was effectively worthless.

Great property!

We stayed the last week of February and it was amazing. The location of the property is about 30 minutes from the airport/Kona which is very nice to be out of town but still have plenty of things to do around you. The pool is perfect for a relaxing day with family and the beach access is amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the property management was there to answer any questions we had. This being our first time visiting Hawaii, we will definitely be back and would choose to stay here again!

Very clean and well maintained. It had a well stocked kitchen as far as things like baggies, foil, spices, etc. Actually, probably the best out of any I have stayed at. Loved the beach club we had access to. It had fabulous snorkeling. The pool in the complex was very nice and clean.

Great location and property

In all honesty the start to our stay was a bit rough as the unit was not ready on time. However, the manager worked diligently to make up for the initial hiccups and it really does seem like this was an isolated incident. The unit is great and in a very nice location. The beach club access is convenient for a family friendly beach. Fun pool too. All in all, I'd definitely recommend!

Great stay at Mauna Lani

It's convenient to the Mauna Lani golf courses, only 3 minutes by car. Most facilities are no more than 6-7 minutes by car within the Mauna Lani resort. If you are walking, it's more of a short hike towards the resort, hotels and restaurants. The unit was in great condition with a very good kitchen. The tub in one of the bathrooms was having problems draining but the managing agent resolved the issue the next day. The washer and dryer were very convenient for our stay. Overall, a great stay and I would stay there again.

Wonderful time on the Big Island!

We loved staying at your property. Thanks for sharing it us! Everything was very clean and the beds were so comfortable! We enjoyed the near by grocery store, coffee shop, pizza restaurant Knead and Bake and Juice 101 was our daughters’ favorite. Only negative is we couldn’t figure out the TV in the loft area which our girls were looking forward to. Not a problem as we were going during the day but would have been nice at bedtime. The pool was stunningly beautiful and warm!! Also, so close to your condo. Steps from where we parked our rental car. We loved being there and hope to come back someday. Many thanks!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mostly all good. A few things could be improved. This is based on and comparing 12 years staying at different properties at Mauna Lani Golf Villas We did not receive enough toilet paper for an 11 night stay. Shower should have had shampoo, body wash, conditioner either in mounted dispensers or in bottles. Cookware could have been better, non-stick frying pans with plastic spatulas.
