This cabin has an open floor plan with 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and sleeps 10 of your favorite family members. The fully equipped kitchen comes in handy when your loved ones are feeling hangry after being out on the trails. Shoot some pool up in the balcony or sit outside around the fire pit enjoying the stars.

This cabin is absolutely amazing. The cabin was clean and had lots of amenities from the fire pit out side to the pool table upstairs the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. This cabin is not far from the trails which was nice i would definitely stay here again

Kevin was very responsive to any questions I had. The house is stocked with a ton of fun games, the house is very clean, and the backyard was very quiet. We’d love to stay here again.

Peaceful visit in the woods

My group had a lovely visit at this cabin! The property was clean and well stocked, we loved the extra touches like the pool table, beer bucket, and working fireplace. The host was easy to communicate with and answered all our questions about amenities and check-in/check-out.

Everything was better than it looked online! The cabin was clean and comfy which made it feel at home. We pulled in the first night with the driveway already shoved and plowed which was so considerate with the snow storm that happened during the weekend. Lots of space and much to do inside of the cabin! I am considering booking another stay sometime soon! Would recommend for couples or other groups Looking to get away to a secluded area!

Guys retreat

This cabin was awesome. Our group was looking to come up and play yard games and golf one day and this place did not disappoint. The best part was all the amenities it came with including a grill, tons of games, extra lawn chairs, a nice patio, soap dispensers in the bathroom, etc. The little things are what made it even that much better. It’s a beautiful cabin in the middle of nowhere in northern Michigan. What more can you ask for?

Boondocks was the best!

Plenty of parking, nice back yard for safe young children activities, we cooked many times in the large kitchen which had every accessory we wanted and more. The huge dining table was perfect for our large family. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms completely stocked. The deck furniture, seats by the fire, in fact all furniture was so comfortable and quality built and fit our tall family. The covered porch had plenty of seating for watching the rain pass by. Such a great home and lication by the trails and not far from Houghton Lake.

Gorgeous Cabin, cozy, and comfortable. We all enjoyed our stay, and my only problem with the cabin was we didnt stay longer! Fantastic.

Beautiful home great location

Excellent customer service and communication!! Home is stunning and fully loaded with everything you need for a great weekend away with family and friends! I asked about a crockpot and the owner was on his way up so made sure to take a crockpot so we didn’t have to pack ours. We will definitely be back! We had a blast!!

Great up north trip!

Great place to stay! We love hitting the trails and this was a perfect location close to the trail head. Very close to bar and store as well. The place was beautiful and well maintained. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Excellent cabin for a group getaway in central Michigan

A group of friends and I (7 total) rented this property to catch up and hang out for the weekend, and we loved it. The cabin is spacious, clean, and updated, with plenty of space to hang out and lots of beds and bathrooms (key). It also has a large deck and some yard space with a fire pit. We spent most of the weekend at the cabin and cooked all our meals there, which we were able to do easily and comfortably. We also drove about 15 minutes to a kayak rental recommended by the owners and spent a few hours on the river, which was a real highlight of the trip. There were also tons of board games and outdoor games. We only ran into one small issue the whole trip: the wifi connection was pretty limited, enough to send texts or emails but very slow with anything more ambitious. I'm not sure if that's typical or was a short-term issue, and we weren't really there to be on the internet anyway. It didn't stop us from having a great time. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic Cabin, Great Hosts

Kevin is a wonderful host who was very attentive to our needs. The cabin itself exceeded our expectations. The small attention to detail was appreciated, from fully stocked kitchen, high end grill and utensils to the clean and inviting atmosphere. Every little detail was well thought out, everything you would need to make it your home away from home. Just the right balance between cabin living and all the comfort of home. Some additional bonuses were the fun restaurant with outdoor seating within walking distance and fun family games like giant connect 4, corn hole, and many board games! We will definitely be repeat customers.

Perfect for a winter getaway! Might be a little noisy in the summertime due to proximity to a busier road. Very clean, roomy and the owner provides nearly everything you need from pans, paper products, board games, shampoo and conditioner! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Thanksgiving Get-together

This cabin was perfect for our 3-night Thanksgiving getaway for two families with kids. We comfortably slept, cooked thanksgiving dinner, and enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and pool table in this cozy, big, clean, and beautifully furnished cabin. No need to go anywhere- the cabin provided all our amenities and we loved how our kids played and hung out with no need for screens (even though the TVs and WiFi were there- we hardly used them). It was nice to feel like we were secluded in the cabin because we were trying to get away from it all, but the grocery store and hardware store, etc. right down the road in Harrison were very nice and the next time we come to the cabin we will know not to bring so much food- we will just shop there! The owners were extremely nice, helpful, and accommodating. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Incredible Cabin right off the trails

The property and cabin was very well maintained, extremely clean and luxurious inside! Full of everything you need. Beds were really comfortable too! Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to enjoy the ATV trails in Harrison or even looking to stay near houghton lake. Kevin was a great host!

Stephanie and I were very fortunate to be able to purchase this fully furnished cabin from the original owners and plan to maintain their perfect 5-star guest rating. We are anxious for the times we will get to make memories at the cabin but excited to be able to share this amazing place with others!

This is the perfect ATV/UTV/Snowmobile trip home base. Close to the trails, a mini mart and gas station to fill up on the way and 3 full bathrooms to clean up after a long day on the trails.
