Family Getaway to Lake Erie with Private Beach Access

Check out our recently renovated and newly decorated “Beach Retreat” in Huron, OH. Spend the day at our private beach and then make s`mores by the solo stove fire pit at night or relax in the AC while the kids play ping-pong or foosball. Your family beach retreat is ready for you!

We are nestled in a family friendly beach neighborhood, with private access to Old Homestead II Beach, a short couple of blocks at the end of our street.

Beach Retreat features a spacious kitchen and living room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a basement full of fun indoor activities and a recently created outdoor space. The brand-new stamped patio has outdoor seating around a smokeless, wood-burning fire pit and family outdoor dining for 6.

Occupancy max is 8 person and we can ideally only offer parking for 2 cars in the summer months.

Sleeping
- Primary – Queen Bed with smart TV
- Bedroom 2 – Queen Bed
- Bedroom 3 – Upstairs North side dormer with 2 twin beds (not bunked)
- Bedroom 4 – Upstairs South side dormer with Queen Bed
Clean linens and towels are provided for all the bedrooms and bathrooms.

Bathing
- 1st floor is beautifully renovated shower/tub combination, high end fixtures and new vanity
- Downstairs stand up shower was recently enclosed for privacy

Amenities of home:
The kitchen is fully equipped with AllClad pots & pans for the new induction cooktop, new refrigerator and beverage fridge, sets of dishes and glasses for indoor and outdoor, casserole dishes, mixing bowls, strainer, utensils, cookie sheets, cutting boards, microwave, Keurig coffee maker and a 12-cup drip coffee pot, dishwasher and dish towels.

We are ready for your home-made meals unless you would rather grill out. A propane grill is waiting for the Grill Master of your family out back.

Our home also has a full-size washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets supplied.

Other Features
The basement provides the kids with endless entertainment with a foosball table, ping pong table, games and a smart Tv with DVD player and nostalgic Atari gaming system.

Beach chairs, towels and a wagon make heading to the beach a breeze, or take a stroll around town on our cruiser bikes in the garage.

We offer contactless entry to the home with personalized keycode access and will have full use of the entire home. We provide a guest pass that allows you to use the private neighborhood beach and we just ask to respect our neighbors and home while you are here.

Our charming cottage is the perfect getaway to experience all that Lake Erie shores and islands have to offer.

No pets please and no smoking or vaping allowed inside.

We offer contactless check in, but we only live 2 miles away if there are any issues or needs.
