We arrived to full, very smelly garbage cans, covered in flys;oh, did I mention stinky. The smell was so bad, that when we got out of the car, we were overwhelmed. We called Oak Island Accomadations and were told that maintenance would come out and remove a couple of bags, so we would have room before Tiesday to place our trash. That never happened. The garbage disposal did not work and it would back up the water. We spent the week using a strainer to keep things from going down the disposal when we rinsed dishes and used a plunger twice a day to get water moving. Reported and never fixed. The pictures show the outdoor furniture with cushions. There were no cushions for the outdoor furniture, two pieces were broken when we got there, and while the largest person in our group weighed 210 and the smallest weighed 90 - we were all scared to sit on the outside furniture and ended up pulling wooden chairs in and out to sit on. I would not recommend this house to anyone. Very disappointed in the service and the problems with the outdoor furniture and inside for what we paid.
