There are no other houses behind this house so you can enjoy the quiet and can see the river when the leaves are off, although it is not super close. I grew up in this area and always loved this adorable brick cottage. It had fallen into major disrepair and when it came on the market in 2020, I knew we had to try to save it. We spent 2 years completing a major full renovation and then in 2022 decided it would make the perfect short-term rental for guests visiting the area to enjoy. I have loved hosting people from all over and giving them a cozy, comfortable place to stay steps from Bucknell.

So close to Bucknell and downtown but it feels quieter since there are no streets behind it.

It has the character of an historic home but since it was renovated it is open and new inside.
