Nature vacation on Lake Venjan

Dalarna is one of the last pristine wildernesses in Europe, characterized by endless forests, lakes and wild river landscapes. Our house is located in a pretty holiday area with pine trees on the shores of Lake Venjan. It is built in the typical Swedish style. The house has a cozy living room, a new Swedish country kitchen, a bedroom, a hallway and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Also a guest room with two bunk beds, wardrobe etc.

Enjoy the unobstructed view of the lake from the large south-facing terrace, which means pure sun from morning to evening. A bathing jetty with a grill hut on the lake and a rowboat complete the thing. Summer water temperatures in our bay up to 28 degrees Celsius are quite possible. Small and large anglers will find excellent fishing spots here. Mushrooms and blueberries are growing in abundance right next to the front door.

We also do not leave you alone when it comes to leisure activities. In the house there is a lot of information and hiking maps for many hikes in the Venjan area and extensive in Dalarna, also with mountain regions. From 1 to 2 hour tours to full day hikes, most of them all tried out by yourself. Benefit from our insider tips on hikes, views of mountains with sunsets, nature observations that are not even to be found in the tourist office in Mora. Just like fishing and fly fishing in the numerous rivers and lakes. Bike bikers will find a myriad of forest trails here, where you have a good chance to meet elk at sunset.
