The perfect place to explore mount rainier, and come home to relax and unwind. Our kids loved playing out doors. Dans place is equipped with everything you could need. Would definitely recommend staying here!
This was an excellent stay - great location, so close to Mt. Rainier, very nice hot tub, new grill, well equipped kitchen, easy access, all the essentials. Good internet connection. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

What a wonderful place. Very well appointed and cozy.
We really enjoyed staying at Dan's Place and visiting Mt Rainier. The house was clean and comfortable and the owner was very kind helping us with any questions, The hot tub was very nice after a long day of hiking.
Beautiful property, excellent location. Tbe house has everything you need for a great and comfortable stay. The property is meticulously maintained, and the location could not be better for access to Mt. Rainier National Park.
We had a lovely stay. The property was very nice and clean. It was close to a lot of fun little shops and a trail down to the river.

This property has everything you need for a great getaway!
It is close to Mt. Rainier. Great hot tub to use after a long hike. The place has plenty of room and very clean.
Dan's Place was very clean, welcoming, and had everything we could want/need. The hot tub was fun to enjoy and we also enjoyed the variety of hot teas. The location feels fairly remote but is great for getting to the park!
National Parks are busy this summer (2022) and the convenient location to a quick early entry into the park is just what we were looking in a place. It was nice to return in the evening to a relaxing quiet location. I hope to rent this place again.
Dan’s place is what every rental property should be! From a super stocked modern kitchen to great indoor/outdoor space for hanging out, this place has it all! Icing on the cake is how close it is to the national park.
This cabin is delightful. Not fancy, but very functional, very clean, and very homey. Fabulous location in relationship to the park entrance. Would definitely stay here again. The description was a little confusing -- there are two small but very adequate bedrooms each with a queen bed.
My family and I stayed here while visiting Mt. Rainier. The cabin is located near one of the park entrances and not too far from a local market. I loved staying here! We saw a deer in the driveway while we enjoyed the firepit. The owner even left smores for us to enjoy. It was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here!!
Since our college kids are all away, we like to get together for a girl's weekend at different places a couple of times a year. We chose this cabin for a cozy weekend to craft and connect with some peace and quiet. It was absolutely PERFECT! Great spot to relax and also a good location to explore Mt. Rainier. I highly recommended this cabin.
Very clean. Very close to the entrance of the national park within 5 miles. Very well appointed Kitchen most everything you need. Comfortable beds, I’ve already recommended this place to friends. Would stay at Dan’s place again in a heartbeat!
Dan’s place was our favorite place on our 11 day trip! We loved sitting outside each morning and listening to nature! The beds were comfortable, everything was provided including snacks! It was a quick trip to Mt. Rainer each day. We hope to make it back someday! Thank you for hosting us!!
We loved this cabin, it was perfect for our visit to Mount Rainier National Park. It was very clean, beds were comfortable and had all we needed. The location was great too, close proximity to the park and restaurants. The property manager was very responsive in answering our questions and there is a nice guide inside that helped to inform us of things do to in the area. Also it has a beautiful outside area with a fire pit and cornhole boards which got a lot of use. I would highly recommend this place!
We have had a busy, stressful year and this vacation was perfect to give us a reboot. Our son loved running around and making s’mores . My wife enjoyed the jacuzzi and our friends and their son enjoyed themselves as well. If available, we will definitely come again !
Thank you so much !!
Our son is volunteering at Mt Rainier and this was a great base camp to explore the area. There ended up being a storm and we lost power so it was unfortunate there wasn’t a fire place, but we knew that going in. The entire house is extremely clean. Very nice bedding and towels!
Great property with a lot of amenities. Our bed was comfy and the hot tub was wonderful. Only complaint was the floors weren’t cleaned with food crumbs everywhere. Luckily, there is a vacuum available. I recognize the cleaner was short on time, as she was there when we checked in. She was very nice, but a response from the owner would have been appreciated. Overall though, amazing property and we would stay again.

Dan’s place while visiting Rainier
We had supper cooked on the grill within 30 minutes of arrival along with fire for s’mores, playing cornhole and hot tub! These activities provided great entertainment throughout our stay.
We would have preferred improved communication as a message sent early morning the day of our arrival went unanswered.
The futon sheets were in a wad under the futon and we assumed they were dirty, went for a thin blue blanket to cover the futon which was stained. We washed the sheets for the second night.
Hanging bath towels were wet when we arrived and several drawers in kitchen had bugs in them so we needed to do extra washing.
Some extra work on our end made this a great stay.
We stayed for a couple days with another couple. Perfect location to meet and hike Paradise area and visit Longmere area. Loved that they had a hot tub after a long day of hiking :-) Place was clean and comfy. The only issue we had was that we hadn't heard how to check in from the property manager but she replied quickly once I texted her number instead of texting within VRBO. Thanks Maddy for sharing Dan's favorite spot!
