About this property

Mountain Top Adventure Condo

Renovated second story condo (short two flight stairway only-no elevator) located in the wonderful Gatlinburg Summit Condos, minutes from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park.
We have everything you need when you book our spacious 2 bedroom smoke-free condo. It sleeps six , and has a wood burning fireplace to enjoy during those chilly fall and winter evenings! Firewood is available for purchase (a small ‘cash only’ fee at the office).
Main bedroom has a comfortable king bed, closet with iron and ironing board, and full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Guest bedroom has comfortable queen bed and cozy window seat.
The condo is located close (but not too close) to the outdoor pool (closed during winter). A newly rebuilt indoor heated pool, with two heated hot tubs, is open year round. In the adjacent clubhouse is a small arcade for the kids, restrooms, soft drink machine, and a coin operated laundry room. Outside the clubhouse is a playground for the kids, and outdoor grille. Amazing views all around, and sometimes bears playing below.
From the Gatlinburg Summit you are surrounded by any number of things to see and do - hiking, skiing, shopping, sightseeing, fishing, biking, or just people watching.
Bring your kids, come with your significant other, or enjoy some "me" time. For a ‘home away from home’, this is the place to come!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please load dishes, glasses, & utensils in dishwasher, and start it before leaving. Dishwasher pods are provided, and fit in a square holder in the washer door. (not the liquid dispenser compartment).
Leave used towels on the bathroom floor. Please take trash and food from refrigerator, to the dumpster before leaving. Additional bags are provided. Thank you for your consideration.
The complex has a bear proof dumpster, accessible only by an adult. It is very important to latch the top silver lock after closing the lid. The city not empty the dumpster if the latch isn’t secured.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
The condo complex does not allow pets. If you bring a pet, you will have take the pet someplace else, or leave, with no refund.
Smoking is only allowed outside on the complex grounds. If the smell of smoke is detected inside by housekeeping, you will be charged $250.
Quiet hours set by complex management is 9 pm til 9 am. As we are not in the area, we are unable to control the actions of other guests.

The view is just amazing. Situated within 2 miles of downtown Gatlinburg. A little dated but clean and easy to check in and out and the owners suggested some things to do they were amazing!

Drive up to the condo was a little nerve wracking but other than that it was a great stay. Master bedroom is still pretty bright even with the curtains. The parking lot light creeps in pretty good. Great time and the kids enjoyed the pool.

That’s the adventure in our Mountain Adventure condo! 😁 Thank you for reminding me about the master bedroom. I’ve been forgetful in letting our guests know how we manage that external light at night. We place our carry on against the light blocking curtains. It helps keep that light from creeping in. But I will see if there’s some way we can pin down or latch the curtains somehow, so they do a better job.

Steep and winding drive way up the mountain, neat! Great views. Saw bears in the road and while hiking. Pool and hot tubs were nice, beds were comfortable, tap water tasted great. Enjoyed cooking most of our meals, plenty of space for our family, really nice having 2 bathrooms. Great value for the price! Nice quiet area away from the hustle bustle of the city, but conveniently close to everything at the same time.

The space was clean, and there were extra blankets available. The balcony provided a nice view of the mountain. The indoor pool and 2 hot tubs were nice for both mom and dad and the kids. I do warn that it gets warm in there, and the chemicals start to burn your eyes, but the kids didn’t have a single complaint, and they kept the pool and hot tubs clean! It is roughly a 15 minute drive from town to the condo, and we enjoyed the drive. It allowed us to see more of the mountain. The people we rented off of responded timely and were kind and helpful.

Comfortable and clean.. Great view of Ober Mountain. As a flat lander, the road to the property (Summit) is white knuckle tense. Take your time and pay close attention. Only suggestion is replacing king mattress.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything was very nice! My only suggestion would be black out shades/curtains for the master bedroom. We had to clip the curtains shut to block out as much of the security light as we could.

The view is great, but just know it takes about 15 minutes to drive up from the street. If you plan to cook, I’d recommend bringing any baking or cooking dishes you’ll need. Also, the parking lot light shines directly into the master bedroom window, so the room never gets dark.

We’ve stayed at The Summit multiple times and this was one of the best condos. It was very clean and super impressed with the responsiveness of the owners to our questions. Would definitely stay here again. Supplied plenty of toilet paper, dishwasher pods, trash bags, etc.

Why they chose this property

Cindi and I had been searching for that perfect place. We wanted beautiful scenery, a mountain feel, but also someplace convenient to a variety of activities, with something available virtually year round. This is where we landed, and it has everything we wanted. We believe you will feel the same.

What makes this property unique

Being up in the mountain provides wonderful views all around. Our property is a short five minute drive up to the ski resort, offering a variety of indoor and outdoor activities all year. And we are a short drive away to all that Gatlinburg has to offer-shopping, restaurants, museums, arcades, aquariums, and scenic drives.
