Just a few miles South of town next to the Park Royal Hotel.
You do not need a car. We are right on the bus line. It is about 50 cents to ride to old town town about $7 for a taxi.

Free Wi-Fi High speed internet access. A new HDTV TV Cable Television with several English High Definition channels. We have an Amazon Echo in both condos. Just ask Alexa to play your favorite music.. We have Climate Controlled Air Conditioning, and a ceiling fan. We have a small safe in the condo (email for combo if interested).
We have a New King size Bed and a new Sofa Hide-A-Bed. Large Swimming Pool. Local Bus Service. Affordable Taxi Service. Great Swimming Beaches. Lots of towels and linens. Maid Service Available for extra fee. Fully Equipped Kitchen with a toaster oven, stove top, microwave oven, frig/freezer, a beverage cooler inside the TV stand, coffee maker, and blender and dishes. Back Again!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and loved it just as much as the first time. For us it is just so convenient and central for what we like to do. Swimming pool and beaches either side of the condo are literally 2 minutes walk from the condo and are very clean. Restaurant downstairs could do with updating but we only ate there once and went out to restaurants downtown. Once again, we will definitely be back!

Ocean-Side Getaway

This was our third time to Playa Los Gemelas, and we plan to go back next year again! The things we love about it are: The beautiful, clean beaches with soft, white sand. From Matt & Dede's balcony, you have not only a perfect view of both beaches but also full access to them. The clear, warm water that’s perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The stunning sunsets that provide a perfect end to each day. We typically go to the pool area in the late afternoon, stay for cocktail hour at 6 PM, and watch the sunset after 7 PM. The friendly locals and vibrant culture. We go into the city each morning to study Spanish at The Spanish Experience. It's so enjoyable to get to know the local people there (our teachers), and we've also met some truly amazing people from all over North America and Europe. From the school, our teachers take us on excursions, and this year we went to San Sebastíán, saw the most amazing Blue Agave fields, and tasted the BEST tequila! The delicious local cuisine and live music at the ocean-side restaurant just below our balcony. The quiet, relaxed atmosphere is perfect for a peaceful getaway. We like going into the city but also appreciate the peaceful surroundings when we come back each day. We can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise!

Mexico 2023

We booked a unit for a few days before joining my parents in Nuevo Vallarta for Christmas. Wish we would have stayed here for our entire vacation. We watched whales from our balcony and listened to the ocean. We slept with the patio door every night. The view was fantastic.

The accommodation was first class from the king bed to the kitchen area and everything in between, my apartment should be so nice, and the view is outstanding. We were lucky enough to see whales surface. And to top it all off the owners were fantastic. Can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay - condo had everything we needed - wonderful beaches with great snorkeling, cool lightening storms in the evening, nice quiet complex, friendly staff. Condo came with beach towels, beach chairs, pool noodles and a cooler to take to the beach! We appreciated the filtered water cooler in the condo and we were easily able to purchase a refill and received help from security getting the refill upstairs. Air conditioning worked perfectly for the hot days. Communication with owners was excellent - answered every question we had and responded very quickly. Little store takes credit cards now but restaurant on site is cash only but very reasonable. The gym didn’t have much equipment but we only took that as a sign to hang at the beach instead :) Vendors at the beach rent umbrellas which was nice with the strong sun. The bus stops/picks up right in front and great for a trip to Mismaloya or into the heart of town. Would definitely recommend a stay here- we wish we could have stayed longer!

The property is lovely, well maintained and the staff is very friendly. The unit was very clean and comfortable with neat decorations and beautiful views. The air conditioner was very cold and much appreciated during the heat wave. We would definitely stay here again and recommend for others.

Lovely relaxing holiday

We had a lovely stay. It was our first time in Mexico. A little bit out of the way, but this is what we wanted. We didn't want a "resort" type of vacation. We quickly worked out the transport methods with the help of the very friendly front desk staff and used the buses or taxies every day. For the 2 of us, this condo was amazing. It had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable with an added bonus of an amazing view. Slight inconvenience was the restaurant closing to have the roof replaced during our stay, but this encouraged us to explore more and go out and forage! We will definitely be back and would absolutely recommend staying here.

Great location with outstanding view.

This oceanfront condo was very nice. Not only did the condo have everything we needed, but it was located on property between two great beaches. We were very pleased with the restaurant and convenience store on the property, visiting them often. The owners were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We will be back!!

Cute

This is an adorable cute studio in a well known condo building in the South Zone. It has nice pools and on-site restruranant and convenience store. Its on one of the best beaches in PV unlike the hotel zone rocks or the newer condos. Hosts are professionals and responsive. You have a view directly of the ocean and beach and pool not just a corner or resticted view. Not luxury and not large but well outfitted and no deceptions. Reccommended.

Amazing escape to paradise

This unit is absolutely perfect if you want to escape the hectic pace of life. The complex has a great restaurant and the view from its patio overlooks the ocean. The beaches are right at your doorstep. The unit has everything you could want plus a 180-degree view. The owners are approachable and very helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

Pleasant and relaxing

As advertised it’s a studio suite so not large but perfect for 2. The view was amazing and although we thought we were early for whale watching we were fortunate to see several and right out from the balcony. We also seen sea turtles and numerous rays. If you want to get away for some activity puerto Vallarta is a 10 peso bus ride away. All in all it was a great stay even though the main elevator was down during our first 5 days and we had to use the freight elevator. Would definitely recommend Matt and Dede’s place to others.

Buen lugar para descansar

El departamento está igual que me las fotos, todo lo que incluye estar muy bien, la playa es hermosa y la vista que se tiene es increíble, la atención del alfitrion fue buena solo que se tuvo una condición con el pago de la limpieza, de ahí en más todo estuvo bien, sin duda rentaría de nuevo el departamento, si pudieran agragar una sillas para la playa estaría genial.

Views, views views

The apartment was a little smaller than it looks in the pictures, but it was very nice. There are nice touches throughout. The best part is the balcony and the view--you can see both beaches and Los Arcos. I loved having access to both beaches as well. Owners were resposnive to any of my questions. Great value and great views.

Beautiful Condo with a beautiful view

The condo was so much more than I expected. It was bright and airy, the bed was very comfortable, and the view from the balcony was fantastic! The property owners were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. The staff on property were very welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

Pleasant Week at Girasol Sur condo

The studio condo met our needs for a relaxing week away, our first trip out of the US since before the start of the pandemic. We especially appreciated the patio overlooking the ocean, as well as the ceiling fan which allowed us to make minimal use of air-conditioning during our stay. Sea breezes this close to the ocean made for a comfortable environment. The condo is located on the south shore about 5 miles outside Puerto Vallarta. Although some might consider this a disadvantage, we actually appreciated being a little bit away from the congestion and craziness of downtown and Zona Romantica. The condo has a lovely pool area, and is between two beaches. There is an onsite restaurant that meet our needs when we didn’t feel like going into town. Will especially enjoyed freedom from being hassled by hawkers as one would find at some of the busier beaches. We did not have a car during this trip. We got around almost exclusively using Ubers which are generally easy to come by (sometimes we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes) and while pricing varies with demand they typically were quite inexpensive. There is a regular city bus, which we tried once, but it was very crowded at the time we took it which did not make for a very pleasant experience. Another positive of being south of the city is being closer to other areas, including the small village of Mismaloya and the botanical garden. We enjoyed visiting both of these during our stay. There were only a few minor annoyances to mention: our stay overlapped the busy Easter holiday weekend. There is a tendency of some to go down to the pool area early and “occupy“ lots of the beach chairs with personal objects, limiting their availability to others. However, a little advance planning or patience generally resolved the pool chair issue. We also had difficulty using the in room safe, which was locked upon our arrival. Overall, our experience was very positive.

Cozy Condo

This condo was much cuter in person! The view absolutely can’t be beat! Many amenities provided (binoculars, pool noodles, scuba gear, blenders, etc!). I’m glad we knew about the pesos only ahead of time for the restaurant and shop, made it easier to plan! All of the wait staff was fabulous! Easy transportation outside of the condo by bus, taxi or Uber! Would love to stay at Matt and Dede’s again! One of the reasons I was attracted to this place was the amount of positive reviews, and the fact that Matt and Dede responded to every person! Made me feel comfortable booking with them! Thank you for a wonderful vacation, Matt ad Dede!
