Or just sit in front of the cosy woodburning stove and wind down from all hustle and bustle. The place is truly a haven to relax. The Cottage is situated on a quiet country lane in Bunavalla/Derrynane – about three kilometers off the well-known Ring of Kerry between Waterville and Caherdaniel. This part of the world is certainly one of the most picturesques areas in Ireland with green fields, rugged mountains and the wild Atlantic Coast. It also belongs to the internationally recognised Kerry Dark Sky Reserve – no light polution but millions of stars in clear nights with many astronomical sights to be seen with the naked eye. The proximate vicinity offers ample oppertunities for hiking, cycling, fishing, golfing and several water sports activities at the nearby Derrynane Beach.
