Clean, beds were very comfortable, everything we needed. The views could not be beat and cooking on the blackstone grill looking out at that lake..PERFECT!!!
We needed a place to sleep and clean up for a family wedding on Big Lake. This is a cute little place and was perfect for what we needed. It has a nice view and is about 10 min from the boat launch.
Super easy check in, exactly as pictured. The lake was so peaceful, loons, ducks and cranes! House was very comfortable, had amazing views. The host was responsive and easy to work with when we discovered we left items. Would definitely stay again - this was the perfect get away.
The view of the lake from the windows were amazing. The home was welcoming, cozy, and clean. The hosts were easy to work with. We highly recommend this place.
The house was awesome, we had so much fun sledding and snow machining on the lake. The house was the perfect size for our family of four. Very clean, cozy and quiet. I would stay again in the future.

Very nice home with all the things you need. Highly recommended.
We had such a lovely stay at this charming spot with a beautiful lake view! The space was perfect for families, with plenty of room for everyone to relax, including our little ones. My kids especially loved sledding down the hill to the lake—it was such a treat! Watching the neighbors’ fireworks display on the lake was magical and made for the perfect way to welcome the new year. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
This is a beautiful property with all of the amenities you could ask for. In my opinion, the location is great - easy access to the main highway but far enough from town to have real peace and quiet. A real gem!
We only stayed two nights but thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. Everything was very clean and we appreciated the small details like having an iron and spices in the kitchen. Blackout shades or curtains would be nice but we made it work for our short stay. Overall, it felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!
The lake house is everything the listing says and shows it to be, minus use of the garage which the owner uses. We found it to be clean as a whistle, with comfortable, newer furnishings. The extra large windows on the lake side of the house are wonderful for staying warm inside while watching for the Aurora Borealis at night. We were thankful the host had told us about the coffee shop a short distance away; we used it as a reference point when trying to locate the house. During our stay, the snow was plowed so high if there was a street sign with the house numbers on it, we couldn’t find it, and the houses sit back off the road through trees, so it’s hard to see to match the right driveway with the rental house. Perhaps a colorful sign out near the road might be helpful for future renters to locate the house. That was our only problem, and it really wasn’t a problem after the first time we found which driveway was the correct one. So, if that’s the biggest negative, you should be telling yourself this is a great rental and booking it.
This was the perfect weekend getaway. We so enjoyed the cleanliness of the property and the quiet of the non motorized lake. This house had everything you could possibly need from cookware to blankets, even had a Wii and a smart TV in every room. It felt like a remote lake property with all the modern amenities.
