Perfection in Lucca

Marina made us feel right at home with a wonderful stay in Lucca. The apartment is in a prime location and is extremely spacious and welcoming. The view from the rooftop is unforgettable. I would definitely stay here again!

This place was perfect for our family for Christmas in Lucca. The place is so spacious and has views from every window. The top sunroom is amazing and the roof top. Marina was so lovely when she checked us in. We will definitely be back one day. Fell in love with Lucca!

Most impressive location and views from the tower. A bright apartment a bit of a rarity in Lucca which was fully equipped and met our needs. Near to local shops and restaurannts in the heart of the city. We had an issue with a leaking skylight during heavy rain in the upstairs lounge which created a slip hazard and needs attention. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely stay in Lucca

The flat provided a warm and welcoming place from which we based our daily adventures. Property location is perfect - close to a market, a cafe, many restaurants and shops, and a 5 minute walk to the wall. The apartment is fantastic - well-equipped kitchen, a phenomenal library and plenty of room for everyone to have some personal space. This property is better than advertised. Communication was great - the only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.....

Mark and Marina were ideal hosts -- they provide needed info on a timely basis, and when getting a taxi to the train was tough, Marina drove us so we wouldn't miss our train. Extremely kind and thoughtful. The property is excellent too! Ideal location and just beautiful! Your own Tower in the center of Lucca!

We had an absolurely amazing two weeks. Marina was wonderful, and apartment better than advertised. I would recommend this to anyone. Location was perfect, Lucca is easy and fun to navigate, and everything about the rental, including the afternoon music in the square and rooftop drinks were amazing. Amazing location in Lovely Luccq!

We loved stating at our own private palace complete with amazing 360 degree views from our own roof top tower. Only down side was we didn't stay longer to relax in the many sitting rooms and balconies. The location was perfect and we absolutely loved Lucca. The host was very helpful. Beds were comfy and the kids loved having their own bedrooms for the first time on our tour of Italy. The price was great too. This house is awesome for families or for multiple families or even a girls getaway. Don't hesitate, just book it!

Great views in great location

The best views of any accommodation in Lucca: from the 7th floor rooftop terrace to the couch in the 4th floor living room's view of the Guinigi Tower to the 5th floor terrace's view of San Frediano's beautiful mosaic. The condo's location on Via Fillungo gives you one-minute access to the restaurants and bars in Anfiteatro and Piazza San Frediano, to four gelateria within a minute's walk, to the best shopping in Lucca. The apartment has four indoor sitting rooms (a huge one on the main floor, two on the next floor, and a fourth on the top indoor floor). With three showers and four bedrooms, we had what we needed for a comfortable stay for 6 friends. Marina was very kind and helpful. Spotlessly clean.

A welcoming retreat in Lucca

Perfect location within the walls of Lucca.. Easy access to walking the 2.6 mile wall with views of mountains.Right In the middle of shopping and dining area. Great size for 7 people. Plenty of kitchen equipment if dining in. Close to train station. Cinque Terre, Pisa,Florence the beach at Viareggio,Venice and Rome are trips we made while there. Manager was very easy to contact and accommodating for all our needs. One small glitch,air conditioning was out for two hot days but quickly repaired. Wonderful experience and absolutely would stay there again. Don’t miss Cafe Santa Zita.🇮🇹

fantastic location

The apartment is close to any kind of shop you may need--from wine to prosciutto to gelato. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living areas are spacious. We never tired of the 2.4 mil walk on the wall surrounding the city-- especially during sunset. If you like opera, a daily recital of arias (mostly Puccini) consisting of two singers and a piano is easily doable. The tower on top of the apart was ideal for happy hour, with a fantastic view of the city, the wall, and gorgeous sunsets. Wine-tasting in the hills above the city and hiking in the mountains north of the city provide opportunities for those who enjoy walking and mountain scenery. Marina was very willing to help us out when needed. And so much more....A wonderful stay.

Absolutely amazing!!

We really had no idea how amazing this property was until Marina took us for the tour. The tour kept getting better and better and then we started our climb up to the tower! Bellissimo!! My Italian friend came one day to visit and she couldn’t believe the location- she said this is right in the heart of Lucca to which I replied- wait until I take you up and you see it!! Marina was really a pleasure! The only bad things I could say is that it’s a bit of a trek taking the bags from the car or train to the apartment so pack light and listen to Marina when she tells you the easier route because Via Fillungo is beautiful but it’s all cobblestone so we’re glad we found the back way. Once you get settled, you’ll have plenty of time to explore all of the beautiful city. The views are absolutely stunning. Breathtaking. Priceless!! I miss being there already!
