The Zin Retreat offers all you will need for a lovely time in Lodi. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a medium fridge and freezer, a double-burner hot plate, a 2-in-1 microwave/toaster oven with air fry function, plus cookware, bakeware, and utensils. The living area offers a cozy velvet sofa, custom coffee table, and a TV with complimentary Netflix plus the ability to login to any of your own streaming subscriptions. WiFi provides speeds of 300 mbps, recently tested at 398 mbps. There is a workspace with a 60" inch table, multi-port surge protector, and 2 chairs. The queen-size bed offers a memory-foam mattress, cotton sheets, and two different pillow selections for the perfect support. Blackout shades are provided on the windows & door for a good night's sleep. In the bathroom, the vintage clawfoot tub offers the opportunity for a refreshing shower or luxurious soak. In the yard, a spacious patio provides a space to relax outdoors with a firepit table, propane Weber grill, dining table, and overheard bistro lights.

The cottage was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The little kitchen was nice with a good sized refrigerator and nicely equipped. The sofa was nice and the TV was good sized. The bathroom was very clean, small with a claw foot tub/shower. The owners were very nice and I believe that they are trying very hard to be good hosts, but the property needs some love. The yard was overgrown and needed grooming and attention. The BBQ worked very well but the fire table propane tank was empty and it took a while for the owner to bring another one. Renters park in front of a house then walk around to the back alley. You enter thru the alley. It is a very safe area but f I were traveling alone I would have been uncomfortable. The location was great amd in a lovely neighborhood. Very near downtown Lodi, we could walk to many stores and restaurants. I will call the rental a diamond in the rough. It needs some attention, new windows screens, maybe some plantings, and should be swept or cleaned before guests arrive. I wish the owners well but wanted to be truthful.

Lovely Downtown Guesthouse

The guesthouse was charming and comfortable with a lovely patio area. The property owner was quick to answer any questions. I will definitely stay at the Zin Retreat during my next visit.
