The perfect space for you & your furry travel partner to enjoy the best that Salt Lake City has to offer. Includes an animal crate, fiber Wi-Fi, workspace, free private parking, private entrance, self check-in, BBQ, & outdoor seating. Along with being only a few minutes walk to the convention center, the capitol, & the best restaurants & shopping in the state, you`re still only 40 minutes to ski resorts & Park City, & a quick 10 minutes to the Airport.

This unit is a private suite in large and historic Victorian house. It has it`s own private entrance and parking. When entering, you first arrive in the kitchen and next to the bathroom. A doorway from the kitchen leads you into bedroom area which houses a queen size bed, a fold-out sleeper sofa, the TV and the desk. We, as the owners, live above with our dogs.
Large vehicles will not fit in the private parking spot.

Great space in a great neighborhood

Located mere blocks from downtown SLC yet quiet and private. A peaceful park was a half-block away, making it very easy to walk our dogs. Clean and comfortable, more spacious than a hotel at about the same price, friendly hosts, highly recommended.

Spacious place with a great location

This was a very spacious unit located in a convenient part of town. It was close to everything. It had everything that we needed. The host was excellent in communicating with us. We would stay here again.

Vey cute and cozy. They provided coffee, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They also provide dog bowls and some dog beds. I felt very safe walking my dog early in the morning or late at night. There is a cute little park across the street that was a great place to take my dog.

Perfect stay

Our stay was perfect! Easy access and parking, and super comfortable. I was in town for work for 2 weeks with my dog; they were very pet friendly, and there is a great park very close which was ideal. They provided everything we needed for our home away from home in SLC!

Great space in the right place

This little unit had a great kitchen and roomy sleeping space. The proximity to the state Capitol and Memory Grove are a huge plus. City center train station is a 10 min walk away.

The property was exactly as described and suited me perfectly. The owner was in communication through the Vrbo app and was available if I were to need anything. The property is in a great location, very close to downtown, but in a quiet, walkable neighborhood with a lovely park nearby. I would definitely stay here again!

Visit to Salt Lake for Hospital Procedures

Visit up to Salt Lake for some routine procedures at Holy Cross Hospital - 3 days and 2 nights stay. Great hosts!! Drew was very quick to respond to any questions. The accommodations were clean and nice. Pet friendly, we had our two mini Daschunds with us, Annie and Oakley and they enjoyed the neighborhood walks.

Cozy Retreat

I stayed in this cozy basement apartment while I was in town for a convention. It was a welcome respite away from the inevitable chaos that comes from 1000 network contacts all staying in the same hotel. I got lots of work done, and even had some much needed down time. The neighborhood is lovely and comfortable for walking. It's close to downtown, but quiet. A must stay!

Perfect location

This apartment is perfectly located to downtown Salt Lake City. It is extremely close, less than a 1/2 mile walking distance, to City Creek Mall, many eating places and other shops downtown, along with Temple Square and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Conference Center. It is in a very safe area and I (female, walking alone) never felt uncomfortable walking to and from downtown Salt Lake both during the day and at night. The apartment itself is just as described and had all that was needed for my stay. Nicely decorated, very clean, all the kitchen supplies I needed during my stay, all the towels and bed linens were supplied, and there was plenty of storage for clothes. The off street parking was much appreciated. Drew, who manages the property, was a pleasure to work with. He was an excellent communicator, easily accessible, who was very efficient and thorough in providing all the details needed to access the property and advise what was expected at the conclusion of my stay. Great suite with a fun location!

Below I'll give a detailed review of the suite itself (all good) if you want the gritty details. But, what makes this VRBO special is the location: You're about a half mile walk from City Creek (restaurants, shopping, grocery), Temple Square & LDS Conference Center, and the light rail station! If you wanted to visit without a car, you can take the light rail to within a half-mile of this VRBO. My review of the space -- First, the suite matched the photos! It feels suprisingly bright and spacious for a basement room. You enter from the back corner of the house (just steps from your assigned parking spot in the driveway). It is 5-6 stairs down. [Note to owners - a timer or sensor on the light by the steps would be a nice addition.] Once inside there is a kitchen with a combo w/d and a small table with four stools. The kitchen has full size appliances and was very well equipped. I stayed for 5 days and couldn't think of anything that was missing. The bathroom opens off this area as well. It was clean, bright, and offered lots of storage and towels. Shower was great with plenty of hot water. Through the kitchen is the bedroom/living area. Bed was comfy with soft sheets. Two warddrobes for your clothes also offer some extra blankets and a space heater. I was there in January and used the space heater to supplement the forced-air heat - no complaints. I worked for a number of hours each day in the suite and the wifi was flawless.
