The house is set in its own extensive grounds and is very modern, spacious and comfortable. Our hostess Sylvie was very helpful both in the run-up to the stay; and throughout. The housekeeper was charming and a decent cook. The local area is not quintissentially French but we grew to like it; perhaps for that very reason. We bicycled to the beach and hung out in the lovely house. Happy days.
