If you have yet to visit Canmore you are in for a treat. There are a few great paths right down to main street for boutique shopping, coffee, dining and exploring. You can enjoy a stroll in the new Spring Creek area by heading across bow valley trail and over the bridge or take a stroll along police mans creek. Canmore is 15 minutes to Banff park gates, we have provided a pass for your stay but we often don't go to Banff. We just take in some of our favorite hikes like Grassi Lakes, Grotto Canyon, Heart Creek Trail, Hoodoos up Benchlands, Ha-Ling and Yamnuska.

If you are looking for restaurants!! There are amazing restaurants in Canmore. A few of our favorites include: Tapas, Wild Orchid Bistro, Rocky Mountain Flatbread Company, Santa Lucia Ristorante but this is only naming a few because Canmore is a great spot for foodies.

Canmore is also a great location if you are heading on a winter ski trip. We are a 31 minute drive to the amazing Sunshine Mountain Village Ski Resort. Sunshine has the longest season in the Rocky Mountains and is open typically until the 20th of May. Not to mention that Canmore has great access to Norquay, Nakiska and Lake Louise ski resorts.

Parking Information
Canmore is growing quickly, and with growth in such a beautiful part of the world comes an increase in visitors—especially when it comes to parking. If you’re travelling with more than one vehicle, please be prepared for some challenges, particularly with street parking. The most difficult time to find a space is often later in the evening.

You’ll find a few options for parking in Canmore:
Limited Free Street Parking – Available on a first-come, first-served basis in some areas.
Paid Parking Lots – Certain public and private lots offer hourly or daily rates.
Standard-Sized Stalls – Most designated spots (including the first included vehicle space) are standard size, which may be tight for large vehicles or trucks.

Please note: The busiest times for parking are during high season (June through the end of September) and on weekends year-round. Plan ahead and allow extra time to secure parking during these periods.
