Sweet Retreat

The perfect place for a family get away. Private wooded area with a beautiful view. Spacious two story house with large living room and large dining room, 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The view of 2 ponds right out the front door is beautiful. You will find the new paved bike trail through the trees that will bring you to the city park and right into town for your convenience. There is a story behind this property: The house was moved from about 7 miles east of Luverne in June 2021.

Our weekend was made complete by being able to stay at the Sweet Retreat. There was plenty of seating for everyone, the beds were comfortable, and the location and scenery out of the windows was just beautiful. The house is nestled in trees and very quiet.

Wonderful Stay

It was perfect for our family while we were celebrating our son's wedding! I wish we had more time to enjoy a walk around the property. It was such a beautiful area. The house was exactly what we needed - lots of space and close to town to get ready and relax between wedding activities.

Unfortunately, I could not make the trip, but my family said the place was great and a lot nicer than what was on the Vrbo website. My family said they would stay again. Owners were very nice and easy to speak with. Thank you Missy and Billy!

The house was clean and spacious. It has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the main floor and 3 more bedrooms upstairs with another bathroom. The furniture was comfortable with plenty of room for all of us to have conversations and watch movies. It's out in the country next to a campground, so plenty of paved walks available. This was our second visit there, and we will probably go again. There is only one step to get into the house, so perfect for my friend who uses a walker.

Although it was listed as having four bedrooms and five beds, it had five bedrooms! What a great surprise. It was the ideal place for our friend group of 10. The lightning bugs out the window, the tree line driveway and the general quiet surrounding the place was really wonderful. Thank you!

Lovely and restful

The house was spacious. There were two bedrooms and a bathroom with a beautiful shower on the main floor with only one short step to get into the house. Three more bedrooms upstairs with another bathroom. That was perfect for my friend that uses a walker. There was a lovely walking trail going past the house. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We enjoyed our stay there. Very roomy. However the bed we slept in was very squeaky. Even the smallest movement, made a loud squeaky sound! Lol! The others didn’t have any issues with their bed. Also having a camper right next to the house was odd. Also needed to supply a few toilet paper. We mostly needed a place to sleep at night.
