Beautiful place to stay with your loved one, friends and family! Has a great scenery by a river/lake with a balcony and place to chill outside. Also good for people who have pets! It has a camping quiet vibe. Will most definitely come back soon. 20-25 mins close to Santa Cruz!

Quite out of the way stay

First time to the Santa Cruz area and won't be the last time. The lodge was clean and quaint for the stay and out of the way of a busier city stay. The sound of nature and creek near by was just right.

Enjoyed the environment and Masood’s attention. Masood gave us a tour of the site and answered all our questions. He responded quickly. Our room had AC on a warm weekend (4th of July) and was dog friendly. We will definitely come here again.

Masoods lodge (Ameer Room)

The lodge was very cute and quaint. It was nice and quiet and the area is surrounded by beautiful redwoods and coastal foliage. The price was fair and you are within walking distance of most amenities. There is a grocery store, gas station, and italian restaurant within 2 blocks. And multiple other restaurants within a 1/4 mile radius of the lodge. I would definitely stay here again. Also the Santa Cruz boardwalk is only a quick half hour drive away.

The lodge is definitely older but that adds to its charm, as does its friendly owner, Masood. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the coffee maker worked and you can hear the river from the deck outside, all pluses. On the minus, the room was musty smelling but we just opened all the windows and the fresh air dissipated by the following day, and the cabin wasn't lit well with funky lighting. Minor issues. The river is steps away from the property and Brookdale is a 5-minute walk. Great stay, so peaceful, quiet and surrounded by nature at its best.Thanks, Masood! We'll definitely see you again.

This is an amazing setting within redwood grove with creek at edge of property. Having a fire at the creek edge is a beautiful experience. Amazing and friendly staff that goes out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable.
