Casa Pajarito-Casita in Placitas

This NEW 1000 square foot Southwestern Santa Fe style casita is located on a 6 acre property behind the main home. It is accessed by its own private road and parking, and is elevated behind the main home with some spectacular 360 degree views of the Sandia Mountains! The mountains are so close....you feel like you can touch them! The floor plan is open and the ceiling in the living room/dining is a striking wood viga and latilla ceiling. You are surrounded by beauty both inside and out. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the home is filled with designer furnishings and artwork..

Beautiful and quiet with incredible views of surrounding mountains. Very clean and well organized. Perfect for couple. Excellent communication with host. Casita Uses evaporative cooling unit and fans common in this area. Not exactly air conditioning. Would definitely stay again.

The Casita was beautiful and very welcoming!! I loved the views, the privacy and the serenity. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook full meals. Judy is such a wonderful host and I will stay on her beautiful property in the fututre.

A well appointed and lovely home in a beautiful desert setting. All the comforts of home with a very accessible owner and super helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We are already making plans to return. You will NOT be disappointed with your stay or your experience!

The casa was perfect for my husband and me. Full stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and lovely view. Just wish we could have seen the wild horses. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a get away that's quiet and away from the crowds. Also highly recommend the Blades Bistro and the Placitas Pizza Co.

Pretty, comfortable casita with beautiful views

Great property! Private, beautifully decorated and landscaped New Mexican casita, with thoughtful extras. Loved staying here while our friends stayed in the house down the walkway. Perfect for our vacation.

Didn’t want to leave!

Perfect place, situated in a good, quiet area close enough to more things than you could do in a week. Beautiful view, I’d quit my job and stay there forever if I could! Great place for two people for several days, will definitely be back!

We loved the beautiful views and quiet surroundings. Judy is such a lovely and thoughtful host. Her place is beautifully decorated. My husband and I felt very peaceful and relaxed here. So many things to do nearby. One of our favorites was taking the scenic drive to Santa Fe on NM 4 through the Jemez mountains. Some of the wonderful culinary experiences we enjoyed were Maharaja Indian Cuisine and Tula's Kitchen in Albuquerque, Chai Yo (Thai) in Santa Fe (El Dorado area), Brekki Brekki in Rio Rancho for breakfast and Blade's Bistro in Placitas for dinner.Do yourself a favor and book your stay.
