Perfect apartment for staying a few nights in a small village area. The owners live very close, so when there was a fuse issue, they corrected it in a couple of minutes. We would gladly stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay near Sezanne. It was a pleasant home and the area was perfect for visiting the champagne region and neighboring Epernay and Reims.

Amazingly cosy cottage, has everything you need for a longer or shorter stay. Best place to chill after visiting the wineries. We would love to go back!
Cosy cottage with an authentic French feel. Located in a village surrounded by vineyards. Loved the private patio where we ate most meals. Really enjoyed our stay 😊

Have a nice life
This was perfect for 2 of us. The town is in the French countryside, a quiet and beautiful area. Grocery stores and restaurants are close, about 5km away. There are many champagne houses nearby, one is a short walk down the street.
Our stay while visiting Champagne was very nice. The apartment was well equipped, clean and our communications with the owner was quickly and clearly responded to. We are 100% satisfied and would recommend it to everyone!

Comfortable charming French cottage
If looking for a delightful French experience this cottage is for you. The cottage is very comfortable with a very good cooking space and all set in a quiet historical village. The cottage is within driving distance of shops and champagne tasting but a car is essential to do this. The landlord Dominique is very helpful and helped us out when we needed information. We will definitely stay here if we are ever again in the district.

Happy Campers
Dominique is just a delight, and for me, an American, it was very helpful that her English was better than my French. Broyes is a lovely little village just a few km from Sezanne, and we took a great deal of pleasure in staying there. Others have described the apartment----it is very well appointed and decorated, and turned out to be one of the real highlights of our trip to France. Thanks so much Dominique, we greatly enjoyed our all-too-brief stay with you in the lovely village of Broyes.

Lovely Stay in the Champagne Region
We really enjoyed our stay in Broyes. The apartment/cottage was lovely and the perfect size. The furnishings and decor were unique and made us feel that we were truly on holiday in France. The walled in backyard was perfect for our dogs and we also enjoyed dining at the patio set.
The drive to the champagne houses in Épernay and Reims were easy and scenic. We also liked simple walks around the village. The views were very beautiful and the scenery nice.
Thank you for your hospitality. And thank you for welcoming dogs into your holiday home!

Lovely quiet and charming
My husband and I were fortunate to have found this great little spot during a recent visit to the Champagne region of France. We spent 3 wonderful and relaxing days in Broyes visiting the Champagne houses in the area, touring the French countryside and upon recommendation of our great hosts, visiting the local farmer's market on Saturday morning in Sezanne. We got the best goat cheese at the market and went back for seconds. The accommodations were perfect - picturesque, quaint and quiet. The private garden is lovely with roses and lavender and perfect for a private evening dinner. We really enjoyed ourselves and would love to visit again. Merci Dominique, for all the great hospitality.

Enjoyed our stay in Broyes!
We very much enjoyed our stay in this charming home in the heart of a Champagne country! We were able to tour the region easily from our home-base, doing day-trips to Epernay, Reims, and many of the surrounding villages and towns of the region. The house was well-equipped for cooking and the lovely courtyard was a perfect setting for our breakfast and evening meals and a glass of champagne! We especially enjoyed meeting Gorge, who helped us settle in, as our hostess was away at the time of our visit. He also recommended an interesting family-run champagne maison for us to visit, one of the highlights of the trip. Thank you for an excellent stay, we really enjoyed ourselves! (Oh, and your own car is a must in this area, as there are no stores, restaurants or services in Broyes, the nearest town is Sezanne, about 8 km away).

Gorgeous cottage in quiet area
My partner and I stayed in Broyes for 4 nights, we wanted to stay somewhere quiet as we had been travelling for 11 weeks and needed some time to relax. The 1 bedroom cottage is perfect for what we wanted it has a beautiful green private backyard, all the cooking utensils you need, washing machine pay TV and WIFI. Dominique is a wonderful landlord she lives across the road and is happy to help anytime. Broyes is a tiny little town with no shops, however only a couple of minutes down the road is the town of Sezanne where you can get everything you need wine, cheese and groceries, restaurants etc. You will need to hire a car when you stay here however it is great to have the freedom to drive around to all of the other towns around Broyes and to come and go as you please. The countryside is breathtaking; I would recommend this place to anyone who really wants to experience France countryside and wants a chance to unwind. We also went to Epernay and visited the Moet and Channdon Cellars which we really enjoyed.

If you like vineyards....
then this is the place for you. A truly lovely little cottage in the absolute heart of Champagne. We were fortunate enough to be there in mid-September just as the harvesting began. We didn't know what there was to learn about this lovely area and the famous grape industry. Dominique and Jean-Paul's place was just right for the two of us, small but plenty of room. The delightful little back patio area is just what it looks like, a private quiet spot for morning coffee, lunch or dinner. The photos very accurately portray the accommodation, a photo of the bathroom is missing and it's perfect. Modern and a handy ensuite. Well equipped home, all you need for exploring the surroundings of the district. Paris just over an hour away. Who can beat that? Had a magnificent vacation before heading south to spend time near the Med. Dominique speaks great english, though she doesn't think so. She's a lovely lady and a great hostess, always available for any problems or advice. Highly recommend this lovely home.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Very cluttered house
We booked for 5 nights check in with Dominique who lived opposite a friendly lady
The house is in a quiet village no amenities parking convenient right outside the house is on a quiet street and pleasant enough but inside it was full of stuff every cupboard and shelf etc loads of plates cooking utensils big serving dishes I have never seen anything like it before there was no room for anything we had brought there was way too much furniture in living area not much room to sit not very comfortable at all bedroom ok all very clean but nowhere to put anything or really hang anything there was a wardrobe with hanging but too much room taken up with vacuum cushions etc just left everything in the bags it might suit some people for 1 or 2 nights but we could not make it work for our stay so we left after 1 night
I think a clear out would make guests more comfortable

Pour motiver son départ anticipé ,cette personne a cru bon de laisser le message suivant" Dear Dominique ,due to unusual issues at home .We had to leave the keys in the mailbox"
Rien a voir avec tous les reproches formulés et injustifiés
je suis très triste de cette mauvaise fois .

Delightful gem in the heart of Champagne
I stayed at this lovely cottage in Broyes as part of a month-long wine education journey through France and Italy. The location was an excellent home base for my purpose - Epernay is about a 45 minute drive, Reims just over an hour, but dozens of other producers are within a short distance. There are even a few in producers in the little town of Broyes, just five minutes' walk from the cottage. (My favorite visit was to Champagne Jeaunaux-Robin, an independent grower-producer in Talus-Saint-Prix - a 20 minute drive from Broyes.) The grocery store in Sezanne is also a very quick and easy drive.
The cottage was exactly as described in the listing and in the photos. The living area with the fireplace was the highlight of my entire month of traveling - I spent many hours relaxing, reading, blogging and drinking Champagne on the sofa with the fire crackling! The kitchen was very well-stocked, both with utensils/pots/pans/dishes and with staples (salt, pepper, spices, oils, pasta, coffee, etc.). Wi-fi worked well - no issues at all with getting or staying connected.
Dominique was a gracious and accommodating hostess. The booking, check-in and check-out processes all went very smoothly. There were lots of books, magazines and brochures for Champagne producers in the cottage, which was how I found Jeaunaux-Robin.
I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends or colleagues traveling to the Champagne region, and will most certainly return myself if I am ever in the region. Merci beaucoup, Dominique!

8 Days of a wonderful holiday
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful time in Broyes. It is 4 kilometres from Sezanne. The pictures don't do justice to the home. It is perfect for a couple. There is a church just across road. Dominique greeted us very warmly even though we arrived a day early (my stupidity). Not only that she used her influence to arrange for medical care for my wife’s unexpected medical issue. Then she went further by making a wonderful homemade soup for my wife. The home is very clean & quite comfortable.
The village may not have a bakery but if you hear a strange sounding horn from a small white truck in the morning, it is the baker making deliveries. He has a selection of breads and goodies which make a great start to the day. If you like to walk through vineyards, they only metres from your door. You can look out over the village of Peas to the south and walk to it easily. There is everything you need in Sezanne. The big Champagne centers of Reims, Epernay and Troyes are within easy driving distance. While we did not take advantage of the champagne producers in Broyes, Dominique is a wealth of information about the area. She graciously shares here knowledge of history and living in this region.
There are two historic monuments close to the village. One commemorating the Battle of the Marne known locally as the Carrot and one recognizing Napoleon’s victories in February 1814.
I don’t have adequate words to describe how welcome and charming our hostess was. I would recommend this for any couple wishing to spend time in the Champagnes and enjoy the quiet country side. Merci Dominique pour votre hospitalite. J'ai recontre l'histoire du notre visite a votre place tout les temps.
