Loved staying in the “Treehouse” - very quaint, well decorated, excellent quality linens & amenities. Hot tub is a bonus; enjoyed it each night we were there.
We couldn’t have a better host! Mike was quick to respond, very friendly and helpful when needed. His place was perfect! Quiet, clean and so charming. The hot tub was an added bonus!
We enjoyed our brief stay at the TreeHouse. We were at first taken back by the very close proximity of the property to the Owner's home and other's in the neighborhood but our stay was not diminished by it. The property was well appointed and comfortable. We very much enjoyed the jacuzzi.
Great property. Very friendly and responsive hosts. Exactly as advertised. Great bird watching in the yard. Super sweet canine host too! We will stay again anytime.

Thank you for your stay and kind words. Would love to host you again. 😊
Lovely location, easy drive from the Phoenix airport and exactly what we needed to get our bearings and start of our trip through Southern Arizona. Michael was very welcoming and ended up giving us many tips on things to do and see. the house what cute, quiet, clean and had everything one might need.
I stayed here for a self-directed art retreat and it was PERFECT! The Treehouse has been very well thought-out and everything was very clean and logically organized. There’s a lot of kitchen equipment available for use, but nothing is in the way.The decor is adorable with a cute bird theme throughout.I need to ask the hosts what brand of mattress and pillows they used because I would like to have them in my life permanently- they were that comfy! I travel with my own pillows, but did not need them here. The grounds are neatly kept and I observed a lot of bird activity, including a ton of hummingbirds (there’s a feeder just off the covered porch.) There’s also a sweet Boxer-baby called Rose who will visit if you wish (I did!)The Treehouse is less than a 10 minute drive to Boyce Thompson Arboretum, so of course I made multiple trips. It’s also within walking distance of good food, drinks, shops, etc., too, which I find to be a huge plus. I would definitely love to stay here again!
Beautiful property, all was in new condition, as described. We used it as base to explore the Superstition Mountains and were pleased to discover some stunning areas nearby. The hot tub was Fantastic. We really appreciated the hosts, they made us feel welcomed and appreciated us as musicians. Beautiful place, people and community, highly recommended.
Great communicator! We loved our stay in Superior at the treehouse! We went to the Arboretum Saturday-beautiful! And hiked on Sunday. We enjoyed walking to Porters from the treehouse both nights. The treehouse is exactly as described and Mike was friendly and available to us if needed. Loved meeting Rosie their dog too. Can’t recommend the treehouse enough’ thanks for a great weekend!
Michael was very kind and made sure we were all settled in. The place was clean, fully equipped, and met all our needs. The hot tub and shower could have been hotter, but it was a cloudy weekend and maybe was set up with panels? Regardless, we enjoyed our stay and the lights they have set up at night are beautiful and peaceful. They have a cute boxer puppy too!

Mariah and guest were perfect guests! We fixed the hot tub temp (simple setting change) and will look at the shower temp… we welcome them back anytime.
Not sure what to add from the other reviews. This spot was a perfect oasis. Everything was clean and well thought out. The outdoor area was beautiful and the hot tub was great after a day of hiking. On demand hot water so hot showers even after my wife took hers. The location is walking distance to restaurants, downtown and the trailhead. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely recommend staying here.
From start to finish our time in Superior and our stay in The Tiny Tree House was fabulous. Mike and Venetta were excellent hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed. We arrived around 4 pm, we entered this beautiful garden oasis, Mike made sure the vibe was just right, relaxing tunes were piped in and we immediately felt at home. The accommodation is exactly as shown, everything was spotless, the bed was very comfortable etc. We had dinner at Porter’s just a short walking distance from the house, the food was excellent and affordable. Mike and Venetta took us out for an off road ride to a great place to view the sunset and shared great stories about the history of Superior. We highly recommend staying in the Tine Tree House and we hope to have the opportunity to return one day soon.
I made the trip to AZ for birding at Boyce Thompson Arboretum and wanted a quiet, private and secluded place to stay nearby and I found it. The neighborhood is a bit run down but I’m a 75 y/o gal and felt totally safe. The Tree House is in a private and very secure courtyard behind the home of the owners. It was fresh, clean, warm, cute and cozy. Plenty of hot water (one review said there wasn’t, but it’s “on demand” and operates a little different.) Michael (the host) and his wife go over everything when you arrive. They were friendly and helpful, always available but seldom seen, perfect! Read the check-in info when you arrive.
As a plus, there’s a rough trail a few blocks away and I got my best photo of the whole trip there. My first Vermillion Flycatcher!!! ❤️
I stayed 4 nights and will definitely stay there my next visit.

Adorable Tiny House in lovely garden/patio setting with mountains in view
I wish I could have stayed longer but enjoyed my one night here very much. I was en route from northern to southern AZ and wanted to be away from Phoenix near spring desert wildflower displays. Happily found this Tiny House. The wildflowers along the North Bush Highway were beautiful on the drive there. I had never stayed in a Tiny House and found the experience fun. Owners clearly put great care and thought into both the interior and exterior. It is tiny inside, just as spelled out in the name, but it had all the amenities I needed. Outside it is more spacious - two decks, brick patio, lovely garden including saguaro and orange tree, bbq grill and hot tub (which I didn't have time to use). String lights and beautiful wooden garden door add to the ambience. The owners' home is across the patio, but because of my late arrival and early departure I regretfully didn't get a chance to meet in person. They were very helpful, responsive, and welcoming in electronic communications. The check-in and check-out process could not have been easier or faster. I would stay again. It looks like a beautiful area to hike in and explore. In particular the Boyce-Thompson Arboretum is just down the road.

Have you ever wanted to scoop up your lovey and go hide in a treehouse somewhere fabulous?
This is an adorable little treehouse/mini home. An excellent example of a small independent space with lots of desert charm. The hot tub was wonderful. The host and neighbors were wonderful. The view is extraordinary! Wonderful place to play house for the weekend.
Beautiful property with amazing hosts. Easy checkin, and amenities were above and beyond- great location with easy access to the main strip as well as a short scenic drive to some of the best hiking in the area.
This little house is a perfect place to unwind and relax in the middle of the desert. It is a perfect little slice of paradise, from the moment you enter the gated yard. Michael was a gracious and thoughtful host. And stopping at Mountainside Coffee is a perfect way to start the day.
My wife and I drove out to Gold Canyon from Orange County, Ca, for a family member’s wedding. We’re used to urban/suburban living and wanted something different. Superior is a small town with a very interesting and sad history. If you appreciate desert landscapes and indigenous history, Superior is a great place to stay. Definitely off the beaten path and quiet. This Vrbo is a great place for couples or friends who don’t mind sharing a small place. It’s clean, fully stocked, and charming. Michael and his wife were lovely people and very welcoming. They know all about the area and have their own adventure company if you’re interested in a desert tour in a military vehicle. Seriously worth staying at this Vrbo and checking out Superior. We plan on going back!
