11 km North of Kuusamo, 30 m to Lake Nissinjärvi (length 4 km, width 400 m), shallow lake with hard sandy bottom, pier, own boat. Cottage is built 2007, located between Ruka and Kuusamo. Kitchen, 2 bedrooms, one with doublebed, one with one bed (120 cm x 200 cm), 2 extra beds upstairs, open veranda both upstairs and downstairs.

There is no separate shower in the main cabin, only a hand shower the toilet.

A specific (electrig heating) sauna on the beach (20 m²) with lounging space.

Wifi-connection 20 Mbit/s.

Reservations start at 17.00 and end at 12.00 (also in weekend bookings).

Absolutely Beautiful

We stayed in the snow and it was beautiful and very comfortable. We loved the sauna and walking in the forest and the view across the lake was beautiful. The cabin had everything you could want, fridge/freezer, Wasing machine, dryer etc. There two bedrooms and a mezzanine floor. It was really comfortable. You will need a hire car and take care because there is a little lane leading up to to the lodge which is tricky in the snow. Look for number 11 Hautarannantie when you arrive.
