Really nice stay at a family home with a (small) pool amid vineyards. Very rural location but with plenty of things to do within an hour (chateaux, other historical buildings and towns, high ropes, karting, great zoo, wineries etc.) so a good base for a chilled out holiday if you're prepared to drive. The pool is quite small (maybe 5m x 5m) but great for splashing in on hot days. One thing to note: it is a family's home so there are some pet-care duties for renters (feeding tortoises, guinea pig and cat) but it was no problem for us. Overall a really nice property in a good location... as long as you're not looking for loads of city buzz!
