The Space:
The entrance to the apartment building is in the alley on the back of the building, right off of the parking lot. Parking in the lot is free and first come first served. There is also free street parking all around the building. There are a full-size washer and dryer that is in a shared room for the whole building. It is free but does require quarters to operate (it just spits the quarters out after you put them in).
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is mostly college students and single-family homes. Definitely super safe. We have never had a problem with breaking into cars. NDSU and the Fargodome are both walkable. There is a grocery store about a 3-minute drive away (FamilyFare). Downtown Fargo is an easy Uber/Lyft ride, about $7-8 each way.
Getting Around:
We have Uber and Lyft in Fargo, both are easy to get at any time. We have B-Cylcle stations throughout NDSU and Downtown. The city bus also stops two blocks from the apartment on the corner by NDSU. If you brought your own car, there should be ample parking in the lot behind our building or on the streets surrounding the building, just be sure to keep an eye on the snow removal times during the winter (it alternates streets and avenues).

Communication was great with this property. It was located very close to NDSU campus, which made it very convenient for going to a game at the Fargo Dome.

People above were fairly loud late into the night (2-3AM). Otherwise a good place to stay.
In the heart of the University District. Great communication with owner and resolved a few issues quickly.

Nice place in middle of everything. near NDSU, Less than mile from Fargo dome and easy walking to Downtown Fargo and restaurants. Unit is in. basement, but still with windows and plenty of ambient light. Need a better mattress, but a convenient place to stay for Fargo marathon.
Had everything we needed and was perfect for just us two. Locked myself out of the building and couldn’t get back in till after checkout and they were very understanding and told me it was ok and to take my time checking out. I appreciated that a lot because I felt really dumb and was worried and panicked about being late on checkout.

Not clean.
The bed sheets smelled like they weren’t even washed, the shower curtain was full of mold, and it smelled like trash in the apartment.

Good Customer Service in a Bad Situation
We did not end up staying at the property due to some issues created by prior guests. Those were beyond the property manager’s control. Noah tried to remedy the situation quickly for us. When he could not, he promptly refunded our money. We will continue to use the services offered by vrbo.com based on both your responsiveness and his.

I’ll start by saying the location was good if you’re in town for an NDSU activity and it’s close to downtown. The check in was smooth, parking is a bit of an issue, as we had to park down the block on the street.
When we walked in, the first thing we noticed was the overwhelming smell of stale smoke. The walls in the living room looked like someone spilled something all over it. Other than the walls needing a good scrubbing or more likely a fresh coat of paint, it seemed clean. The biggest issue is the misleading photos of the bed. This was just a mattress thrown on the floor. Completely unacceptable. It should absolutely be stated that there isn’t a real bed.
Very disappointed with the amount we paid to stay here. We were up and out by 7 am because we couldn’t sleep with the smell or the lack of a real bed.

The building was nice on the outside but to get into apartment was different and a little on the creepy side. Upon entering building there was a horrid stench of someones cooking but it was not pleasant. There was a lot of dust and decor outdated. Apartment was cute just perfect size for 2 people but again very outdated hadn't been dusted in days , there was a shade broke off window in living room. In the kitchen there was dishes n stuff to eat and cook with that was nice also but upon looking in cabinets we came across some women's lingerie items , pics available, very disturbing considering this was supposed to be cleaned for us beforehand. On to bedroom no bed just a mattress on floor not even a box spring , closet door was broke and there was holes in door , only mirror in the whole apartment was in bathroom makes it rough for 2 women getting ready to go out..Over all it was quiet. No problems , just building stink and needs updates big-time . Didn't expect much but a little effort into their keep up would be nice and why do We pay for cleaning when I was asked to take trash out and wash my own dishes ??
